Red Carpet Liquors

Red Carpet Liquors is responsible for getting more Mantecans laid than any other business I know of and for that I give it 5 stars. I’ll tell you this and I’ll tell my first born Digger when he’s thirteen– Pick up 12 tall ones (12er PBR $ 6.99) at Red Carpet Liquors (313 Rosebud Court) and your likely to be giving mustache rides all night. Pick up twelve long stems ($ 19.99) at Flower’s by Lauri around the corner and your likely to be giving mustache rides for life. For me the choice is obvious, I already got a lady at home.
When rating a package store I look at liquor selection, prices, and need for body armor (there have been no holdups or shankings recently at Red Carpet fortunately so not really an issue). I don’t give a fuck how friendly the staff is, whether they remember my name, whether the store is nicely decorated, the clerk wears a Santa hat around the holidays, or the Miller Light girls do frequent promos. All I care about are price, selection, and safety and Red Carpet delivers.
If your looking at seducing the manteca honeys selection at the liquor store is really important and if your looking to seduce frequently you gotta stay on a budget, you know what I’m talking about? At Red Carpet I recommend Boone’s Strawberry Hill ($ 2.69 at last check), Mad Dog Wild Berry (twice the alcohol content of Boone’s, $ 2.99), and Mad Dog Hawaiian Blue (aqua blue color and a hint of coconut) if you’re after the 18 – 21 female set. But ladies in their twenties, they like wine. Red wine! Go for the Thunderbird («An American Classic»), Nighttrain ($ 2.69 AND equivalent to 4.5 beers), or Wild Irish Rose ($ 2.99, tastes ok, sounds exotic). For the cougars (that’s what you SF people call em, in Manteca they’re just known as the ones lingering at closing time and the first to leave in the morning) go for the ‘dre ($ 3.49), the champagne of American sparkling wines. Support the local farmers, folks! It’s grown and bottled in the Valley. And for us men, well they have plenty of malt liquor and plenty of beer.
Hell man, it’s your choice what to get… but never forget the following:
1) The bathroom vending machine at the 76 (next door) stocks dental dams and 2) if you don’t have a mustache, get the fuck out of Manteca.
