History

Established in 2012.

Having been with a prominent northern California pest control company for 24 plus years, 20 plus of those years as a department manager I learned quite a bit about pest control in businesses and residential. Along the way also learned quite a bit about bird control, weed control and bedbugs to name a few other areas of learning. With all 5 of our kids on their own now and doing well we felt this was the time to do this. We had wanted to do this a few times in the past, but as they say timing is everything.

In this short time Valley Pest Solutions has earned its recognition in Manteca, Ripon and Lathrop as the recipients of the Readers Choice Award for 2014. While also earning Angies List, 2013 Super Service Award.

I would highly recommend Terry and Valley Pest Solutions!!! Terry saved my family when we were inundated with ants!!! I’ve always been one of those guys who thought i could spray on my own and didn’t see the value of hiring a true professional, boy was I wrong. Our problem got so bad that ants were literally crawling on our ceilings, and my family didn’t want to be in our own home. i called Terry and even though he was super busy he found time to come and save us. Terry did a great job, he was very careful where he was spraying as I was very worried since my wife was pregnant and I have children in the house. Terry managed to spray inside and out and the ants started to die immediately! we went from a horrible infestation to no ants in a matter of a few days. Now the only bugs I see around my house are dead ones that come out after Terry sprays. Do yourself a big favor, call Valley Pest Solutions and stop worrying about your bug problem immediately!!!

I highly recommend this company. Terry has been wonderful to us. We have been trying to hold off on calling a pest control company regarding our ant problem. It’s been almost 2 months and I am so happy that those ants are nowhere near my food, my bathroom and anywhere at all. Terry took care of us when we need him. I am so thankful that we contacted him!

Valley Pest Solutions is an awesome pest control service. When we moved into our home in Lathrop, we had a horrible invasion of spiders and flies. I was looking on Unilocal for a pest control service that was in the area — can I say that I am so pleased with this service. I have not seen one spider, or fly since Terry has came out. He is so reasonable with pricing, and times when he comes and he works with your schedule on the times you want him to come. If we do find anything wrong or just need him to spray an extra time, he will and it’s free of charge. If you are looking for pest solutions in your area, please call Terry, you will not be dissatisfied. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I would highly recommend Valley Pest Solutions! Being a small business owner myself it is important to me to try and use local businesses as much as possible. Terry goes above an beyond what the corporate programs do that are out there. He has helped me with not only an ant and spider issue that I have on a reoccurring basis but also a gopher issue. He is respectful of my property and I feel very safe giving him access to my back yard when I am not home. Terry always makes sure he follows up and makes sure his customers are happy. We’ve killed a number of black widow spiders in the yard this year and debated calling a service, but it was an invasion of tiny black ants in the bathrooms and kitchen pantry that convinced me to finally call a professional. Actually, the ants convinced my wife who convinced me, but that’s neither here nor there.
As a New Yorker transplanted to California, I was a bit concerned Valley Pest might come out and attempt to humanely trap and relocate the offending insects and arachnids, but my fear was quickly set to rest as Terry «The Bug Assassin» W. attacked the problem with extreme prejudice. I’m confident there were no survivors, save one or two left to spread the word to their friends that this home is no longer a safe haven.
All kidding aside, I was impressed with the professionalism, quick response, and thoroughness with which Terry handled our problem. He arrived a few minutes before the promised time, explained the whats and whys behind his treatment plan, and even put on shoe covers before coming in the house. (Honestly, he could have come in barefoot or wearing snow shoes for all I cared, just so long as he took the ants with him when he left.) A couple days later, Terry followed up with a text message to ensure the problem was solved to our satisfaction.
If you are debating, as did I, between spraying your own house/​yard or hiring a professional, I’d strongly encourage you to call Terry. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person, despite the growing mountain of evidence to the contrary, and having watched Terry work, I am convinced I wouldn’t do half the job. He turned over pavers, sprayed in and behind bushes, and covered far more territory than I would have thought to treat. I’m quite confident we made the right decision in going with Terry and Valley Pest Solutions.

I contacted Valley Pest Solutions based on all of the positive Unilocal reviews I read. After having Terry come out to my house I can see why Valley Pest Solutions has such high ratings! We had an ant problem and Terry came out the same day! He came out for our ant problem but also gave me helpful advice about my lawn (pesky bermuda grass, weeds, etc). Terry explained exactly what our service included and why he was going to do it. Very knowledgable and friendly guy I would highly recommend his service to anyone!

Had a horrible ant problem in our home so I gave terry a call, he was very great with answering all my questions & never made me feel like I was bothering him. Highly recommend Valley Pest Solutions. I had called around to a few places and Terry was the only one who was willing to work around my schedule. He was very knowledgeable about mice and gofers-​which was my problem. He explained the service and the cost without any fluff. He began work immediately. He even we above and beyond and took it upon himself to pull up out garbage cans and clean up the pile of dirt the little mice left behind.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you call Terry. We had a very bad gopher problem and our beautiful backyard quickly became gopher-​land with massive holes from our dogs trying to hunt out the critters. I called Terry and not only was he out that same day he actually caught a huge gopher within hours. He made sure to keep checking the traps (even on a late Friday night & very early on the weekends), Within days he caught a second gopher — we are VERY pleased! This kind of service is almost nonexistent these days so I appreciate it very much. His price was WELL worth it and he is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. You are in great hands here!

Highly recommended! Terry was very responsive after I found him on Unilocal and made initial contact regarding pigeon control around my home. He was clear and concise regarding options and expected costs. There was no pressure at all on any of the options, and he didn’t try to sell me materials or services that I didn’t ask for. He was respectful of the home (shoe covers) and very friendly. After we came to an agreement, the work was scheduled and completed right on time, no hassles. He even made sure to follow-​up with a call to see how things were going, just to ensure I was happy with the quality of his work. This is actually the first time I was so happy with someone’s service that I had to come to Unilocal to make sure I gave feedback.

We used the same pest control company at this house for over a decade, but their service was starting to dwindle. We decided to make a switch and try Valley Pest Solutions. We have always struggled with spiders, but after just one treatment from Valley Pest Solutions we went in the backyard and found tons of dead black widows. Terry was very thorough and did an awesome job. Now we know what we have been missing out on for the last decade with our old service.

I had been having major issues with Gophers tearing up my lawn and flower beds. I called Terry from Valley Pest Solutions because I heard he was honest and trustworthy. He was amazing… with in the first 5 minutes he had already caught a gopher. He left the traps there and caught 4 more after that. He even returned to water my lawn where he had to dig to put the traps. Great guy… Great work… great price!
