Dr. Vontela and her staff are not only professional, but very caring towards their clients. They are very concerned you have no pain and calm you when you when you are in the high anxiety mode. The front desk personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful. I recently became a new client and went in with a cracked tooth and possible root canal. I was given medication for the night before and in the morning to help my anxiety and was not sure if I could find a ride from home and back. the staff offered to pick me up and bring me home. This is going over and above what is required! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Vontela and her staff to ALL! What a special group of people!

Once again I was very pleased with the service I received at Dr. Vontela’s. Even though I was late for my appointment; they were still able to see me. I need to have some surgery on my gums and they are working with me on the financial part of it so I am able to get it done right away. I love all the staff there. They’re so nice and friendly and caring.

My wife and kids HAD been going to see her for the past 2 years, and have had nothing good to say about her! Just yesterday the 2^nd of Dec my kids went in for the 6 month check up, and when I went there to pick them up I could see that my youngest daughter was really agitated. I asked what was bother her and as usual she shys away from talking. In the mean time Dr. Vontella come in with my daughters dental bag and with a menacing tone says «YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR BAG! That kind of struck me as odd. Then with all the audacity she tells me in the same tone, MAYBE IF YOUR DAUGHTER TOOK MORE CARE OF HER TEETH INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT HER HAIR THEN HER TEETH WOULD BE IN BETTER SHAPE!
My wife called the next day and Dr. Vontella started losing her cool with my wife! Not cool!
She no longer gets our money! If I could give her 0 stars I would!
P.S the receptionist is also very RUDE!

I don’t even know where to begin so here we go — little bit of a back story first.
I initally began with Oak Valley Dental — also located in Manteca and let me just say that it was an absolute nightmare. I know this not their page but let me explain. I had so much work done there including a «full mouth restoration» — as they call it — at 14 – 15 years old. I had no idea what my parents were getting suckered into when they decided to place a full mouth of veneers on my teeth that have absolutely no enamel. Major screw up and any orthodontist will tell you the same thing — except when they’re trying to sell you $ 18,000 worth of oral work. Several years later and hearing about experiences like this from other family members and other people, it was time to switch to someone who. dare I say. legitimately cares about their patients?
The very first time I walked into Vimala’s office and opened my mouth to show her my teeth, she grimaced a bit and then started to ask what the last person had done and where I came from. She instantly knew that I had veneers put on my teeth far too young and apologized for what they had done. She explained that she would have never offered these to me because I have no enamel on my teeth and your teeth are not done developing at 14 – 15 years old. It’s pretty obvious that she instantly felt for my issue and knew exactly what they had done but when I told her I came from Oak Valley, she just frowned and shook her head — explaining that I’m not the only person that has come in from Oak Valley with this type of work done that is not only unecessary, but completely detrimental to the tooth’s lifespan.
OVERALL: The knowledge that she has, along with the personal touch of someone who actually cares really makes going to the dentist a completely different experience. The amount of comfort that I get knowing that my teeth are actually getting the proper work done means everything — especially when you only have one set of real teeth for life.

I’ve been seeing Dr Vontella for 2 years now, so I can safely say that she is an excellent dentist, from cleanings to crowns. On top of that, she is very gentle, caring, & has a superb staff! Her assistant and her front desk manager are so knowledgable, there’s never any confusion in any area. I’m so glad I moved to Manteca & found this dental office!

I was very impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. Dr Vontella was very patient with my children and put their anxiety at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

Going in, I knew there was work that I would have to get done. However, Dr. Vontela’s workmanship was not good. I had a root canal and crown done on one tooth in which I am currently having pain and sensitivity with this same tooth. ODD! I had a root canal and a crown done on another tooth (a different dentist) and I had no problems. She also removed an old filling and refilled the tooth. Now less than a year later she tells me I now need a crown on that same tooth. I went to her because she was local; as I just moved to the area. However, after this experience I will drive the hour to my old dentist. Sadly, most of my annual benefit was spent on the horrible root canal and crown. So, I will be forced to pay to get her poor workmanship fixed by another dentist.

I found my new dentist! Her staff is so very knowledgable & friendly! explained everythingbthey were doing– They have the most state-​of-​the-​art equipment & the office is very pleasant. Digital X-​rays, text reminders, all current everything! Then I met the dentist! Dr. Vontela is so nice! She was very conscientious, interested in my history, family, etc. upbeat, friendly & very personable! I just loved the whole experience! (I know– the DENTIST? Right…) but it really was a great appointment! And no waiting. I’m so happy to have found this dental office!
