(the photo of the beach is not the view from the house, it is the beach you see when you walk 5 – 7 minutes down the street.) This location is very unique. Surrounded on either side by state parks (Oswald West and Nehalem State Park), the house is a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach! Downtown Manzanita is walking distance.
The house has a fire pit for evening smores, a tree house and swing set when you feel like relaxing at the house.
This Manzanita vacation home has high-end linens linens and a fully equipped kitchen, even for the most discriminating chef.

Leah discovered Manzanita when she was in Air Force F-16 flight school in Oregon in 1996. She spent weekends and holidays exploring the Pacific Northwest, stumbled upon Manzanita and fell in love with it. «It’s truly a magical place!». She purchased the home in 2004 so that she and her family could enjoy the area and share it with others. Manzanita is surrounded by state parks on either side: Oswald West to the north and Nehalem Bay State Park to the south. The home is situated in north Manzanita (Neakahnie), convenient to town and the beach. The home is on a large property with views of Neahkanie mountain, surrounding meadows… yet it is a 5 minute walk to the most gorgeous beach. The town of Manzanita offers boutiques, restaurants, wine bar, beer tavern, coffee houses, organic grocery stores, farmers market and much more. The town and Leah’s home is perfect for a family get together or romantic getaway. Manzanita is located 1:45 hours from Portland. No pets and no smoking
