Specialties
We focus on Independent and Assisted Living. We accept the Medicaid Waiver, as well as an array of other payment options. We believe that everyone deserves the right to great care at affordable rates.
History
Established in 2010.
In 2008, after spending 10+ years in the banking industry, Severine Petras and her family started Lamplight Communities. Our focus is to offer affordable Assisted Living. Affordable to us means appropriate private pay rates as well as accepting alternative payer sources such as Veterans benefits, insurance benefits and focusing on the Ohio Assisted Living Waiver.
In January 2010, we closed on our first building in Maple Heights, OH. We bought it as an independent community for seniors, and invested for renovations to make it eligible to be licensed for Assisted Living and as a Medicaid Waiver provider. Since January, we have acquired a 14-story hotel in downtown Fort Wayne, IN and a 114-unit residence in Dayton, OH. Early August we acquired an 80-unit Independent Living facility located in Richmond, IN. As a growing company we are always looking for new opportunities and have plans to rehab an old school in Toronto, OH, hometown of the Petras family.
