The vision of Josh Whitney Design is to empower clients with the marketing tools they need to make a difference in their bottom line and their ability to serve the customer’s needs.

History

Established in 2013.

After many freelance projects throughout my working 12-​year career, I started Josh Whitney Design in 2013. This young and thriving business now operates as a home-​based business serving clients in Maple Valley, the greater Seattle area, and clients around the country.

Business Owner

I am an experienced graphic designer and web developer with exceptional talents in Photoshop and a variety of other design programs. A majority of my design experience comes from retail print marketing, e-​commerce, and usability (UX/​UI), with a background in fine art and illustration. I started my pursuit of graphic design by attending The Art Institute of Seattle, graduating in 1999 with a degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications.

While in college I began doing freelance design work, and soon after college I found employment with Pro Golf Discount /​www​.GolfDis​count​.com where I became an entry level designer. I quickly became the lead in my department, directing the company’s design and usability of its print and e-​commerce marketing.
