I specialize in working with students 6^th through 12^th grade in Math, up to and including pre-​calculus. I’ve worked with students in all classes in the Tahoma system, and am familiar with the curriculum and style of both the district and teachers.

History

Established in 2008.

I started out helping some friends’ kids with math and reading, and started building word of mouth. Once I became known by the district and THS teachers, things kind of exploded. Today my associates and I serve Tahoma students twenty hours per week in a one on one setting in the goal of improving their math skills, regardless of a student’s starting point.

I’ve lived in Maple Valley since 2007, and am a proud husband and father of two kids in local schools.

I’ve worked with teenagers since the early 90’s, first as a camp counselor, then as an after school counselor, then as a High School teacher for seven years. When I moved to Washington and decided to quit teaching to stay home with my kids, it wasn’t long before I started working after school part time helping kids with homework, reading, and math concepts. A few years later it’s become a robust business.
