After looking at a lot of photographers a friend recommended Cate. We really liked their wedding photos and we decided to schedule a meeting with Cate. During this meeting Cate sat down with us to discuss our wedding and the type of shots we were looking for. Cate really captured the exact look we were going for. I highly recommend her and tell everyone I know about her great photos.

My husband and I chose Cate Jackson to photograph our wedding and our engagement photos. First of all, I really love her style and work. When she first met with us, she helped us create a «package» that included everything we needed, modifying it based on how many hours, if we wanted the second shooter, etc.
She has a great eye for scoping out places to take your photos and listens to what you want out of the experience, too. So, for our engagement photos, we wanted a more urban feel, and she took us to Tower Grove area for photos. For our wedding, we wanted more nature and so we went to Forest Park. Even on a busy fall day in Forest Park, Cate had come by ahead of time to check out the spots where the best fall foliage could be found! As a result, we have some awesome pictures!
One of the greatest things about our wedding photos is that we have two angles of everything. Her second photographer was amazing! She took just as great of pictures as Cate, and it helped us capture alternate aspects of everything.
We waited for about 10 weeks to get our photos back, but when we did, we had a treasure trove of about 1200 pictures! When my husband and I looked through them to narrow down our favorites, we still ended up with about 500 «favorites!»
Cate mails you your photo collection on a USB drive that is in and of itself a work of art (it has a wooden box with one of your pictures screen printed on it). She also sent along a form issuing us permission to print the photos at your discretion. Meanwhile, she also posts a virtual gallery where you and family members can order professional prints.
We had a very good experience with Cate and are whole-​heartedly recommending her to all of our friends and family!

My now husband and I first met Cate right after we got engaged. We didn’t even meet with any other photographers after our first meeting with her. Cate’s work speaks for itself, so really, this review isn’t even necessary, but what her work doesn’t show, is how great of a person she is. Cate really cares about each couple, and she makes you feel like you are the only couple she is working with. If you are looking for personal, attentive photographer who will be with you from engagement to wedding day, baby announcements through family photos — go with Cate. We could not have asked for anyone better. Her eye is incredible, her shots are beautiful and you know when it comes down to your wedding day, that you will never have to worry that the perfect shot wasn’t captured. She sees it all from a big picture point of view and captures every tiny detail. She was so calm and professional, always on time and always had a smile on her face. She is wonderful and I recommend her to everyone looking for a photographer!
