Express Yourself Studios is an art studio and art gallery dedicated to being an outlet for children and adults to express themselves creatively via classes in the arts. As well as a space where artists are welcome to display their work and create utilizing the Studio’s space.

Birthday Party Review: If you’re planning to throw a kid’s bday party at this place I would highly recommend you think twice. The space itself is fine, perfectly suited for up to 25 kids. However the staff themselves were either just not interested in providing an experience for the kids or didn’t care. We chose the tie-​die shirts and face painting package which ultimately meant the staff were in the very back of the facility nearly the entire time. The kid’s interest wained and the event was not in their control at all. They never engaged with the kids, tried to make the project fun or even thought to come out of hiding and re-​engage the children. When we arrived, the staff didn’t seem at all happy to see us or any of the kids that came through the door. We took control and tried to help along with the projects. After the shirts were complete, once again the whole staff headed to the back for nearly the entire event.
Maybe as an art studio to sit and have one on one time this place would be ok — but they are in no way prepared for birthday parties that have more than 5 – 6 kids. If you do move forward, bring your own helpers, entertainment, projects and know you’re really just renting the space.
I would of given them a higher score if they even seemed to care in the slightest about the parties they host — but it was so obvious they don’t.

like I said, very unprofessional and disgustingly rude. no one argued with you, you raised your voice and I hung up on you so if your going to speak about a situation then do it correctly. the refund was already processed and I hope for other’s sake that you do not receive good business until you learn how to be a REAL business woman.

Made a reservation about 3 – 4 weeks in advance only to show up and the place was not opened. I drove 35 minutes to this place which frustrated me even more. I found out the class was cancelled when I called the next day– and no one gave me a phone call letting me know. Very unprofessional.

What an amazing place this is. If you want to do something creative, definitely come here! I’ve discovered this place a few years ago when looking for a cocktail and paint type of class and it totally exceeded my expectations. It is so much fun! I absolutely loved the owner of the studio and her daughters who often help her. It is a nice location and a nice cozy, playful studio. You will definitely enjoy it!

I purchased the class off living social. We took the pottery class it was very interesting and fun. The place is bright and welcoming. We meant some awesome people there. The instructor did try to delay the class for lil bit because of parking and traffic that was considerate of other clients. Con’s —-Customer Service was 1 – 5 I will give the instructor a 3. We walked in and did not get a warm greeting and no instruction of wear to sit. Our time was running out we not instructed we have only few minutes please start finishing your project. If you think you going to pottery class and it’s going to be like the ghost movie you are wrong. lol And your item is not getting painted that day because it will not be dry. There is not a oven there to speed up the process to dry the pottery. I think she said you have to wait 7 days for it to dry. We were given boxes to take our item home but it was not secure so be sure be careful on your ride to home. #Tip arrive early for parking. #And do not expect a reminder call or email for your reservation.

I took my mom and sister here for Coffee and Canvas on Sundays and we had a lovely time! There was another family of three who participated that day so it was relaxing and enjoyable on a cold afternoon. The owner/​instructor walks you through the painting process so you don’t have to be «good». At the end of it all, you walk away with a cool little painting.
The studio seems like it can accommodate a large group and would be a great idea for a girls night or birthday party.
I’ll be back for sure!

My friend and I did their «Coffee & Canvas» on a Sunday. I really loved the bright, colorful space and was immediately inspired. The price includes all the supplies you will need to make your own version of the painting as the teacher leads you through the steps needed to recreate the image. At the end, although the teacher gave us all the same instructions and tips, we each ended up with our own version of the same image. It was a lot of fun. I would definitely return and get creative again.

I went to this place for their Cocktails & Canvas night — you come in to make a painting and can bring your own beverages. The owner of the studio instructs you how to paint a picture that everyone is looking at. In the end you all end up with a painting that looks a lot like the picture.
If you are Pablo Picasso then this is probably not the place for you. You would not get too much from having someone giving you step by step instructions on how to paint; it would probably stifly your creativity. But if you are just a regular person who wants to do this for fun and have a reasonably good picture to hang on your wall, then try it out.
I do recommend bringing a friend, because I went by myself and everyone else there were in their own private conversation catching up with the friends they had brought. I had hoped for a better dynamic, which finally came towards the end, but bring a friend and try it. You’ll like it!
