I’m in the changing room in my undies and bra, and the OWNER barges in to see how i look in the clothes i’m trying on. even when she sees me naked, and attempting to cover myself, she proceeds to have a conversation with me. I had just had a baby and was feeling extra insecure about a stranger standing there having a conversation with me in my undies. As I’m fumbling for something to cover myself with, as she continues to try to talk to me, she THEN she mentions how I should try this new weight loss medicine she’s been taking. humiliated, i left, without buying anything.
Later that day, I mentioned to a group of ladies I know in Marble Falls about my extremely awkward experience in Ciao Bella that day, and they all knew the lady I was talking about. She’s the owner, and she’s known all over town for barging in on everyone while changing.
The store has some incredibly cute clothes, but there’s a line that should not be crossed. I don’t like people barging on me while I’m in my undies AND then continue to stand there and chat it up and mention some weight loss medicine.
completely unbelievable. this would NEVER happen in a real store.
