History

Established in 1997.

CopperStill is a small companion care facility. The kennel is located about 150 yards from our home allowing us to have late evening walks, check on dogs during thunderstorms, etc. We also understand how expensive it can be to board multiple dogs and give nice price breaks for families with more than one dog. For example, 2 dogs boarding in the same family run will cost just $ 37 per night, cheaper than many urban kennels for one dog!

Business Owner

I have been involved in the sport of purebred dogs since 1994. I retired from the corporate world in 1997 and opened a boarding kennel to enable me to spend more time training and raising Labrador Retrievers and learn and interact with other breeds.

I grew up with a Skye Terrier, and have had many terriers over the years. I fell in love with Labradors in 1994!

I raise, train and exhibit Labradors in conformation and hunt tests. I am a hunt test judge and also judge sweepstakes at Labrador specialty shows. I intend to apply for my conformation judging license in 2015.
