History
Established in 2012.
Sa Nguyen met Mia Nguyen Lunt while attending Boston College. Their friendship grew very quickly as they were like minds, hearts and souls. On the weekends, Mia’s home in Salem would be Sa’s home away from home. They would spend hours and hours on the rocks of the Marblehead beaches, drinking DD coffee and daydreaming about owning a business there one day.
Years passed and their lives have come full circle again on the beaches of Marblehead. Inspired by the fresh home cooked meals that they so loved growing up, they opened Soall Bistro as a tribute to their Moms — the essence of their lives and the soul of their Soall.

Business Owner
We are not professional chefs nor were we trained in such an environment. Our cooking skills, if any, came from our mothers’ kitchens where we were forced as young ladies to learn the necessary skills to care for our families.
We took it so lightly then but are grateful now for having been forced there. Our goal is to serve fresh, healthy Vietnamese food the only way we know how — from our very own kitchen.
