Marco Island Ski & Water Sports

We parasailed with these guys today — had a great ride. They did a great job. The crew was helpful and friendly. They took pictures of us with our phone as we took off and landed.

Thank you Brian Scuderi for a great ride this morning! We were able to see so many creatures including Dolphins, manatee, birds and more! Great job!

Took the jet ski tour with Brian as an operator. Great fun, looked hard for wildlife and got to see both a manatee and 3 dolphins. Brian worked hard to find them and we finally did, had the jet ski at ¾ speed most of the time and opened it up riding in, pretty fun… Brian was nice enough to send us some go pro photos that nite so kudos to him!

Go down the beach! Better prices and they are honest from the start. Guys here are not helpful!

I find this company to be completely irresponsible when it comes to water safety as well as sea turtle safety. They leave their machines on the beach year round, even during sea turtle season. The endangered animals like to nest in the tall grasses just beyond the beach, but often can’t make it because of wave runners, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. It’s sad to see a company care more about the bottom line than an animal that could soon vanish thanks to companies like this.

Had a great trip on a dolphin, shelling tour. The captain and 1^st mate Brady were fun and were very informative about the area and history. We saw many dolphins including one who swam along with our boat for 10 minutes. We went to a deserted island for an hour of shelling, swimming and seeing the remains of the dome house. On they way back were able to see manatee. Great trip recommend it for families!!!

What a great time! We went out on the Calusa Spirit on a shelling and dolphin tour. We saw dozens of dolphins and manatees thee separate times. Captain joe and first mate Brady were awesome the kept the kids entertained and did a gray job. We are going back again!

Our first time was a real blast. They fit its in right at the end of the day. Wonderful view of the island.

Holy cow!

OMG!!! HOW FUN! We did the 10,000 island tour last week. We had beautiful weather! The guys at the counter are super nice, let me and my honey both drive the jet skis and allowed his daughter to ride on it with us, so we didn’t have to rent a 2^nd jet ski. They go over the safety features in a movie, then again in person with the jet ski in front of us. They supplied us with our life jackets, and let us pick our jet skis.
There 7 jet ski’s total in our group. We split up into groups of 3 and 4 and had an awesome tour guide. We saw manatees, dolphins, and a bald eagle. The tour guide was helpful in pointing out the wildlife.
We really enjoyed our time. This tour took about 1.5−2 hours total, and its right on the beach behind the Mariott hotel.

We signed up for the roughly 3-​hour tour around the 10,000 islands area. Captain Joe and first mate Sonia were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. (I believe she is a marine biologist by training!)
We stopped multiple times to watch dolphins cavorting, and then headed to one of the islands for a stopover for swimming and shelling. We lucked out with good weather that was just barely warm enough for swimming (mid-​January) and saw some interesting creatures along the way, as well.
Not too expensive and a fun, easy excursion!

The wave runner Eco tour was fantastic! Great guides, and plenty of wildlife, including dolphins.

We signed up to take a little jaunt to get off the beach for a little while, do some shelling and learn about the area surrounding Marco Island and we had an absolute blast. Captain Jim and first mate Sonia made this a great trip. They have an amazing knowledge of the surrounding islands, the history, and the wildlife in the area.
The trip was about 3 hours (I think) and we stopped multiple times for dolphins, got a great bunch of historical info about the 10,000 islands that protect the coast, the Indians that lived there centuries ago and who ended up killing Ponce de Leon… he died from an infection from am arrow wound to his thigh that was tipped with poison.
We stopped at a pretty cool island (Cape Romano) to do some shelling and swimming and also got to see what’s left of the the «Abandoned Dome House of Cape Romano» (check it out here
). It’s been condemned and is going to be removed, but I added some photos. We got some really great shells here and while I didn’t find any others found some really huge Conch shells, like something out of a catalog. Like the ones you see in the movies where some guy is on a hill blowing into one end of it to call overyone back to camp. Pretty cool.
The trip was a little pricey-​with tip cost $ 200 for the four of us, but we really had a great time. The company also does parasailing, banana boats, and I think they also rent the jet skis for both the Hilton and the Marriott.
