Meet the Business Owner

Raymond F.

Business Owner

Ray first visited Marco Island in 1983 to attend a convention. He was a young and debonair sales and customer service executive for a London-based international mainframe computer corporation. He was impressed with the island’s laid-back charm and bought a condo in 1988 which then led to him moving her permanently in 1989. Ray is very gregarious, and when the chance to acquire Sand Bar in 2004 came, he was all over it. Ray also owned Fortune’s Steak and Seafood and had planned to close it after he turned 70, in October of 2009.
