At Groovy Plants Ranch we specialize in growing unique and exotic plants. Our categories include but are not limited to tender succulents and cacti, cold hardy succulents and cacti. As well as perennials, annuals, herbs and veggies. In short, at Groovy Plants Ranch we grow GROOVY plants!

History

Established in 2007.

Groovy Plants Ranch was established in 2007 by Jared. He started by selling plants at local flea and farmers markets. Soon after he started to sell small orders of plants to the local garden centers. Today Groovy Plants Ranch is a garden store known for it’s usual selection and knowledgeable staff.

We are truly passionate about horticulture, with a emphasis on exotic and unique plants. Groovy Plants Ranch caters to this specialty niche, offering a plethora of unique succulents, exceptionally cold hardy cacti, as well as rare and unique perennials. We select our plants based on a few simple criteria.

Uniqueness: A plant must be exceptionally unique to be considered a «Groovy Plant».

Ease of Care: We want our customers to enjoy their new photosynthesizing friend, so they must be easy to care for.

Low Water and Fertilizer Needs: We care about our impact on our planet. Groovy plants are low impact plants, great for the conscientious green-​thumb.

Jared & Liz love Cool Plants. We travel the country to find plants that we have never seen and bring back to Ohio so they can be available to everyone. Gardening should be for all people, not just those with expendable income and time. We collect plants that are easy, low care and we sell them at an affordable price; so that everyone can have Cool Plants.
