My husband and I just had lunch there. We felt it was very good and the service was friendly. The place was very clean and we felt a warm feeling to it. We split a #4 which is a hamburger and hotdog with fries and a medium drink for $ 8.90 and the food was good and we liked the fries. We then had a custard hot fudge sundae medium size for $ 3.90 and it was really smooth and tasty. We recommend Freddy’s and we will go back.

I gave it five starts because of the food, but hang on to your wallet when the check comes. Pricey… but I guess you have to pay for what you get. Very noisy, so it’s not a great place to have a conversation, but I guess that’s what attracts a younger crowd(which I’m not a part of any more). If I go back and willing to pay the price, I would probably use the drive-through and enjoy their good food in a more calm setting at home.

This place was so busy when opened so we waited to eat there. The food was disappointing. The burgers were small and dry as were the french fries. The sprite at the soda machine was like chemicals so we notified the staff and were offered other drink but we said no thank you. The food was so inadequate we went home to eat another meal. Doubt we will return.

First time ever to visit a Freddy’s and the last time, pulled into drivethru and waited for 5 minutes with no cars moving then backed out and went inside. Staff was friendly and place seemed clean; ordered their double with fries and hot fudge malt, recd a chocolate malt with barley warm fries and this burger that I cannot even describe; 2 thin overcooked patties of something that was more crispy than anything. Without a doubt the worst«burger» that I’ve ever had, 3 bites and gave the rest to the dogs!!! I dislike McD’s but would go their before setting foot in this place again…

I’ve been going to Freddy’s for their custard only since they opened. I went through the drive thru one evening and their electronic system was down but it never slowed the operations down for the drive thru customers. The team was gracious, efficient, effective and most of all«still» friendly! I decided to walk in on my birthday and try one of their combo meals to treat myself. To put it short — my entire experience was excellent/above and beyond. I am amazed at the talent of one particular young lady — Madison. Madison was there to do some training so she is not staying. You want to talk about up coming career talent! She was amazing! It’s what true customer service is supposed to be and she’s got all of the skills. She will be very successful in her career years to come. Keep up the good work Madison! And no, I’ve never met her before today. Now back on Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — I ordered a combo of the patty melt, fries and drink. Every bit about the meal was perfect. Although I am not a fan of skinny french fries — it’s all good. Being they were not busy,(opening time) I chatted with the team members while waiting for my meal. Every team member wanted to be there to work which is hard to find anywhere these days. Their work ethic was impressive. Keep up the great work Freddy’s Maricopa Team!

Place is great. Been going to the one in Chandler for the last year or so and this one is just as good. I have only had the double and the fries but its so good I’ve never wanted to try anything else.

This is the third time I’ve been here in as many weeks, but the first time coming inside. Every time I come it’s crazy busy. Food has always been good, better than that really, and their shakes /concretes are INCREDIBLY good. We’re new to Maricopa & Arizona and this is my #1 favorite fast food joint to date — we’ll be back!

First time dinning here and I really like it. I ordered fries and double steak burger. Loved the thin fries and the burger was very tasty, the bun was fresh. I had low expectations, but the food is good and will return. steak burgers are not hamburgers. The patties as thin like a steak :) Enjoy!

Oh Gee, negative Nancies as one reviewer entered. Everyone has an opinion and here’s mine. We just tried Freddy’s as it was OK but nothing great unless you have limited experience outside of Maricopa. The service was excellent as it was very helpful. I first attempted to order a cheese burger then it was explained to me – Freddy’s burgers are real thin, make that ultra-thin, so two were advised. No worries about being served a rare or medium burger-all burgers appear to be well done, which I like. I changed my order to their #1-double cheese burger, french fries and a soda. You’re given a pick up number and then wait a very short time for your meal to be picked up by you. The reason why I didn’t really want a double burger is that I’ve had lunch at Five Guys many times and their burgers are just plain big! But this is Freddy’s in Maricopa, so I tried it. The meal arrived hot and was good but nothing to sink your teeth into. If you like real ulta-thin burgers, this is the place for you. The Freddy’s double burger couldn’t compare to a double Five Guys Burger. Price worked out to about the same between Five Guys & Freddy’s. Would I return to Freddy’s for a burger, little to no chance. I’ll return to try the frozen custard next week. The parking lot for this mini-mall is mini. If you park directly in front of Freddy’s or any other venue there, the next group of parking spots behind you is close. In fact too close for those big/long pick up trucks. Even a car had issues trying to park next to me but then again many people can’t park. I recommend parking on the side of any store in this location.

There are a lot of good things to say about this place. One, it’s one of the best fast food burger joints you’re going to find in town, if not the best. Two, the place just opened recently and they already seem to have their groove down. Yes, the people were training, but they didn’t have any issue with changing out the order preferences or getting the food out fast and fresh. The people are extremely friendly, and they seem to have more staff than customers when we went in. They were very busy, but we got our food very quickly. The prices are very good for the food you get as far as taste and amount. What else can you ask for? Now there are a few things to be said on the not-so-negative-but-worth-mentioning side of things. Firstly, good lord too many onions. We ordered the chili cheese dog, chili cheese fries and a double bacon cheeseburger California style(no avocado on it though, not sure why seeing as we thought that’s what ‘California style’ is, but it might be a franchise thing). I was told the flavor on the dog and fries was good, but just way too much onion taste, so next time we’ll just have them put light or no onion on it to tame it a bit. The burger had an amazing taste, very crisp ingredients and it was warm and fresh. I wanted to disagree with a previous post and say something like«THINBURGERSWHATDOYOUMEANIT’S AMAZING!» but to be honest, they kinda are, so if you want a regular burger thickness, get the double. The fries were a bit limp, but that’s not bad if you like them that way and had a good flavor. The parking was insane, which isn’t really their fault, but we parked in front of the store and had to wait to get out because the line to the place was almost(literally) wrapped around the building. Overall, this place had it’s stuff together very quickly for a new location and I’m looking forward to many more burgers from this amazing place.

Other burger joints better watch out. Freddies has the best fast food style burgers in the buisness. This was my 1st time trying them and the last time I’ll go anywhere else for burgers in Maricopa.

If you frequent the Maricopa Facebook forums, you know just how quickly everyone turns against a new place. Tried this location about a week after it opened, and was already expecting disappointment and the worst food ever. The lesson here is this: Don’t listen to the Negative Nancies on Facebook. This place freaking rocks. They were crazy busy, but incredibly efficient in getting us through the line without feeling rushed. We had great service even as training was obviously still going on, and the food came out quickly. My wife ordered a lettuce wrapped burger, which was pretty good according to her. My bacon cheese steak burger was extremely delicious, and my mom’s meal had her raving(same burger, with a chocolate shake). She is a South Texan who likes this place more than the Corpus Christi Whataburgers(they are best in their home city), and that is crazy. The fries are tiny but flavorful, probably the weakest part of the meal. They were still the best in Copa. The custard(like smooth ice cream) was the perfect ending to the meal, and we shared a big sundae. It was enough for two people to be questioning their life decisions upon finishing. So yeah, you need to go here. Now. Don’t let the Negative Nancies on Facebook tell you otherwise!

Delicious! We’re so excited that Freddy’s is opening in Maricopa! Finally a good burger place! We’ve been going to Freddy’s since we lived in Chandler. Their burgers are thin steak burgers with all the toppings you could want. The shoe string fries are so yummy especially with their fry sauce. They have custard too! Honestly I’ve never tried it because I find it hard to pay for ice cream at any restaurant when I know I can get a half gallon at the store for almost the same price but I think once they open we’ll finally try it. Can’t wait!!!
