History

Established in 1974.

In 1974, Jimmy Allgood founded Allgood Pest Control in his hometown of Dublin, GA. His goal was to provide safe, effective pest control services to homes and businesses in middle Georgia.

Meanwhile in the Atlanta Pest Control market, Red Tindol had been using his pesticide experience in the Army Corps of Engineers to build a family pest control services business centered on many of the same quality and service principles as Allgood had in central Georgia.

As larger corporations threatened to undermine the service principles so important to the Tindol name, Chuck, Mike, Perry and Bubba realized that the best way to keep their family owned businesses strong was to team up with someone who shared their philosophy. That someone turned out to be their cousin, Jimmy Allgood, who in 1991 brought his name and his reputation to Atlanta. Allgood Pest Solutions has since expanded its reach to include Douglas, Dalton, Rome, Macon, Brunswick, Savannah, Vidalia and Jacksonville.
