History

Established in 1965.

In 1965 there were few reputable swimming pool builders in the Atlanta Metro area. Because of this, Robert Shearer decided to rely on himself when putting a pool in his backyard, and using an original design, he built his first swimming pool (which is still in use today after fifty years). The pool turned out so well that it wasn’t long before neighbors were requesting pools for themselves. As a result, AquaRama Pools, Spas, & Service Inc. was born.

With over 50 years of exceptional service and three generations of experience, AquaRama takes pride in it’s deep rooted history. Robert Shearer’s legacy remains and is honored by his family.

Robert Shearer built a swimming pool business based on honesty, integrity, and quality. These core values have carried the family owned business into a new millennium. For decades of service and more than 500 award-​winning designs, AquaRama continues to be the neighborhood’s trusted pool care professional today.
