I hired Around the Town movers on December 31st. They showed up on time and moved everything from one 2br2ba to another about 5 miles away in about 4 hours with a 3 man crew. I wasn’t expecting it to take that long but they did move pretty fast and I felt satisfied with their work. I only had one issue which was that they broke our washing machine during the move. We filed a claim for the damages and we received a fair amount for the reimbursement. If I could do it again, I would have probably paid for the additional insurance coverages because accidents do happen sometimes (we just hope they don’t). Ultimately I was pleased with the way this issue was handled. I received great customer service from everyone i spoke to. I would likely contact them again for my next move.
