History
Established in 1978.
I always felt that if we could tap into the greater part of our minds we would be able to accomplish much more in our lives. I was fascinated as I studied the subject and decided to become a Professional Hypnotherapist. I earned my certification as a Master Hypnotherapist at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. Upon graduation I was eager to start helping people so I opened Atlanta West Hypnotherapy Clinic. Since then, I earned my PhD in the Suggestibility of the Brain, and PhD in Hypnotherapy. I founded the Atlanta National Hypnotherapy Institute to ensure that the same high quality education I received was available to my local community. My business has been helping people and families improve their lives for over 34 years with proven results.

Business Owner
Dr. Laura, Founder and Director of Atlanta National Hypnotherapy Institute and Atlanta West Hypnotherapy Clinic, has been a student and practitioner of Hypnotherapy for over 30 years.
Suffering the symptoms of Systemic Lupus at the age of 14, the doctors were unable to diagnose the illness. She suffered for years yet was determined to live a full and healthy life. She abandoned most of the prescription drugs and started a rigorous program of juicing. At the same time, she came upon a self-hypnosis book and began to give herself suggestions of health and healing.
Finally in her late 20’s, doctors properly diagnose her illness. Told that she had 3 years to live and unwilling to accept the dire prognosis and treatment, she studied Hypnotherapy under Dr.‘s Kappas, Hodges, and Sommerman. Receiving her certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, She founded the Atlanta West Hypnotherapy Clinic in 1978.
She continues to manage her SLE today with help from Hypnotherapy.
