Usually I’m a bit more prepared to serve my espresso addiction when traveling away from home. This time I wasn’t. We arrived in Marietta and surprisingly enough I hadn’t already scouted out the best local, non chain coffee shops. We had paid an unexpected visit to Dunkin’ Donuts the day before but wanted to try something smaller and locally owned. In came, Baristas — which has not one, but two drive thru windows. We opted to park and walk up. As first timers I kept it very simple. I wasn’t interested in inquiring about what beans they were using or what brand milk they have I just ordered a non fat iced latte to keep things simple. I’m not even entirely sure if this was a single or a double but my best guess is a single. It was a very small cup(for hot drinks, with a hot drink lid), filled with ice a splash of milk with espresso which was smooth but something about it was just not enough. Maybe they don’t do a lot of iced drinks. I’m not sure! My boyfriend and his brother both had black coffees. We ordered a few muffins. I don’t really do muffins but the food options here are a bit limited. I had a few bites of my blueberry muffin which was nuked in the microwave(another thing I don’t care for) but then decided to pass on eating any more of it. This place wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t recommend it or rush back if in the area again. Sadly, Dunkin’ Donuts was better and I am not in any way a coffee«chain» lover. Baristas is very inexpensive, which isn’t generally something I’m concerned with when it comes to food or beverages but we were out the door at around $ 9 total for 3 people. Unheard of!

The coffee is very good and quite reasonable. Staff is very friendly and quick. My kids love the smoothies. If you bring a reusable cup the discount makes regular coffee not much more expensive than a keurig k-cup.

In my quest to find the perfect cup of coffee I saw some reviews for Baristas and decided to give it a try. It is one of the more unusual places I have been to. You could almost call it a little shack or cottage in the middle of a parking lot. It is easy to miss when you’re driving by. There is a counter up front where you can walk up and place your order, and they also have a drive by window on the side. There are various types of coffee and specialty coffee drinks. They also sell some Italian ices, and have some muffins and similar types of items to buy with your coffee. They have a coffee of the day, which when I went had various flavors and I decided to pass and instead get a French Roast, which they have as a permanent item on their menu, and it is one of my favorite types of coffee The coffee was decent, but wasn’t the best French Roast I have had — it wasn’t strong enough for my tastes. Prices are about standard — I paid $ 1.75 for a small French Roast. There was a very friendly elderly couple running the store when I went — don’t know if they were the owners. I would like to try this again if I’m in the area and see if their coffee of the day or other selections are better than the French Roast.

I love these gals. Their coffee ranges from decent to great and is at a reasonable price. They also make tasty gourmet and specialty seasonal drinks. The place itself is tiny with no interior access or bathrooms for customers but they have two drive up windows and a cute porch with benches for foot traffic. It’s a bit of an odd and out of the way location and their hours are limited but it’s definitely worth the stop.

Great! My normal morning coffee stop. Cheaper, better, and friendlier than Starbucks. And they even take credit cards now!

The ONLY reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is that they don’t take credit cards. As a restaurant owner, I understand that the fees involved can be high. I would go here a lot more if they did though. That being said, I have always gotten one of the best cups of coffee that is always served with a smile! The prices are good, and they have some great sounding flavored coffees, although I almost always take it black. I really need to try some of their breakfast offerings, but the Joe satisifies my coffee cravings! Try this place! You’ll love it!
