At Cat Care Hospital we are devoted to the care and well being of cats and their owners. We offer well visits, vaccinations, surgery, blood work, dentals, grooming, boarding all in a caring environment. Please call us with your needs and we will be glad to help you and your kitties.

The Cat Care Hospital is a full service hospital and outpatient facility exclusively for the treatment of cats. A highly trained, caring staff each having a special love for cats and state-​of-​the-​art equipment and technology provide «cat care with a difference». At Cat Care Hospital we are devoted to cats and to the people who love them.

Our hospital offers diagnostic, medical, surgical, dental, grooming, boarding, and critical care services. Diagnostic services include x-​ray, ultrasound and in-​house laboratory. We offer state of the art equipment for cats. Our surgeries are performed with human-​quality gas anesthesia, and we measure and monitor each surgical patient’s oxygen saturation, heart rate and temperature. We also offer blood pressure monitoring.

We also offer condo-​type boarding in our catnappers inn. For those felines needing a day care facility we also have those accommodations.

We also offer housecalls for those shy cats who do not want to leave their home environment.

Business Owner

Dr. Debra Rowell graduated from Mississippi State University in 1986. She received both the Gerry L Grand Humane Award and the Senior Companion Medicine Award. She graduated with honors.

«Growing up in rural MS gave me many wonderful experiences with cats. My first cat was a calico named Cinderella. My mom and I were all about saving cats that others had turned their backs on. My decision to be a feline veterinarian came from my background of growing up around all kinds of cats. some sweet and purry and some feral that had not had the human touch. I first said I would be a veterinarian when I was ten years old. I feel it was more of a calling than a career choice. Someone once said… Let your work be your passion then your work will not seem like“work.» This is the way my job is for me. It is the greatest job ever and one that I am proud to be apart of.
