Very happy with the quality of work, service and timeliness of Mr. Chang’s business. We had (8) dining chairs reupholstered. Reasonable rates and good workmanship.

Mr. Chang has done work for me 4 – 5 times and everything he has done has been excellent. He is very polite and very professional. I discovered this shop because my decorator uses him; so there’s another positive review for his work. His prices are very good.

My mom is an interior designer, so I grew up with folks like Chang (the man behind Crown Upholstery) in my wheelhouse, which is pretty rad. Over the years, he’s recovered all kinds of goodies for me via my mom. It’s safe to say the man is an upholstery genius: he can, quite literally, do anything. I’ve been spoiled knowing that any nasty Craigslist find can turn in to something beautiful: all I need to do is find the fabric (which is part of the fun).
Today, less than a week after dropping it off, I received a new-​to-​me wingchair and ottoman back from his store and I couldn’t be more in love. I had found the chair on Craigslist and it really is amazing how he can transform a piece complete with any details you can think of: nailhead trim, tufting, new cushions, etc.
Recovering furniture just makes sense to me: it’s better for the environment, you get *exactly* what you want, and every piece of furniture has a story.
If you’re recovering something, Chang is your man.

Highly recommend — made our couch and chair better than new. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. The prices were very fair.
