Daily Printing and Graphics

Dewey has had some bad reviews but we’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences using Daily Printing and Graphics. I’ve used it personally, and we’ve used it for the swim and tennis club, including making signs. I don’t know, maybe give him a chance!

I’m with the previous reviewer on this one.
I talked to this guy about six months ago on behalf a client and he quoted me a super-​reasonable rate. The client wound up cancelling the project so I didn’t get a chance to use his services but I kept his original quote and contact info to give referrals and also because I knew I’d have need of his services at some point in the future. When I called him last month with the exact same project — he quoted me DOUBLE the rate. And I’m talking a difference of $ 250.
When I asked if I could get one draft /​mock-​up, just to check color saturation, first he said no.
Then he said yes — and that it would be $ 10 and it would be printed on a similar paper — not the actual paper /​folder itself.
During our call — he sounded annoyed — completely different than my last dealings with him. And I shudder to think that I actually referred clients to this nutbag. I guess some people might get good prices and great customer service — but it seems to depend on the day you call and his mood.

The owner (Duey) could care less about his customers. My parents had been going here for years and referred me. In the beginning things were going smoothly with my order. I even offered to pay up front, but Duey said I could just pay when I picked up my enlarged images. On the day that I went to pick my images up, one had imperfections on it so I asked if he could re-​print it. I told him I would go ahead and pick up the image that was ready, but would come back to get the other once it was corrected. Duey stated that was fine, but wanted me to pay for both right then. I asked him if I could just pay for the one that was ready, since he did tell me I could just pay when I picked them up. Since that’s what we had agreed upon, I did not want to pay for anything that was done incorrectly and not ready for pick up.
Duey BLEW UP at me. He literally went crazy, literally BERSERK! I could not even get a word in edgewise. It was horrible! I could not believe him and did not understand what the issue was. We agreed that I would pay when I picked the images up, and I was only picking 1 up since the other was not ready. He went on and on about how he has to pay his worker that did the images, I don’t trust him, I’m young, etc. My age had nothing to do with anything, how rude.
Even when I was trying to come up with a compromise with him, he told me «No, what are you still doing here? Goodbye! I don’t want to do business with you!» Who tells their customer that? And keep in mind, my parents had been going to him for years. For a second, I was thinking about just paying for both and being done with it, because the image that was done correctly did look really good. But he wouldn’t even let me, he did not want to do business with me anymore at all, and I had done nothing wrong. It was crazy! I was never rude to him or anything, so the way he went off on me was UNBELIEVABLE!
My parents no longer go here and I advise you not to go either. Because the second he starts to feel that you don’t «trust» him, he’s going to BLOW UP!!! LITERALLY!!!
