DW Campbell Tire & Auto Service

I always come here for oil change. They usually have a coupon on their website that’ll help save a few bucks. They are easy to call and schedule and usually only takes about 30 – 45 minutes once I’m in there. Brad is very helpful and friendly and always tells me what I need to know and doesn’t try to sell me anything I don’t need. I highly recommend this place. All the staff is very nice and they even bought peanuts from a regular vendor who stops by.

Needed a new tire after I punctured my sidewall.
Went in, John the service manager was helpful and upfront.
The tire I wanted to match was discontinued; John gave me 3 options at 3 different price points, along with his recommendation. No upsell pressure, just good honest advice.
Tire was to be delivered the next day. Came in when he said it would, called me when he said he would, and had me in and out in about 20 minutes.

This place is the absolute worst! I would not send anyone to them for anything. Just this week I took my car in on Saturday because my air was broken. He told me they would run diagnostics and call me to tell me what was wrong. 6 hours later I still had not heard anything. I had to call them and the guy tells me that they are still running diagnostics. I am not that stupid. It doesn’t take that long. At the end of the day he calls me and wants to keep the car til Monday. I agree after being told it would be done Monday. Monday rolls around and I hear nothing almost all day. I call at 5 and they didn’t get the part they needed. Did they call me at all? NO. I had to call them. Long story short, I didn’t get my car back until Wednesday afternoon. It was always something and they never called me to update me. That Monday when I called and complained, he was rude to me telling me that it wasn’t his fault that this happened to my car. I was infuriated. This is the worst customer service EVER! Do not visit this particular branch. I know I won’t ever again!

I was impressed with how easy it was for me to get service at DW Campbell Goodyear.
I know what you’re thinking– how hard could it be to get a simple oil change? But I’m just like everyone else. I want a friendly mechanic who does quality work, I don’t want to pay $ 30 for an oil change, and I certainly don’t want to be jerked around. Most would agree this is tough to find!
And then– Half-​Off Depot presented me with a coupon to DW Campbell Goodyear that I couldn’t refuse. For $ 20, an oil change, tire rotation, fluids fill up, and windshield wiper replacement among other services. I knew I couldn’t beat the price so I went for it.
I dropped my car off about an hour after they opened on a Saturday morning. The guy at the desk quickly took my information, and let me know my car would be ready in an hour. He did not seem annoyed that I had a coupon. I didn’t stay at the shop, but I saw they had a TV, comfy looking chairs, magazines, coffee, etc.
When I picked up my car, the same friendly guy got my bill all settled and sent me on my way. There was no pitch for «air filters» or any other services. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that they didn’t tell me where my car was parked, and since the parking spaces circle the building I literally walked around the entire building to look for it.
Service wise, I was happy with the work. I knew a couple of my fluids were low (or…empty…) and they had been filled up. I didn’t like the new windshield wipers they put on, but probably because they were low quality for the deal I was getting. No biggie. Otherwise car is working fine!
I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. I can’t speak for their normal prices but should another deal for the place come up I would definitely go for it!

I have stopped into this location twice for tire pressure issues. The first time, I let them know the low tire pressure indicator light was on and they were more than happy to put the car on the lift and check each tire. I actually felt bad that they didn’t charge me because they were so friendly and efficient.
The second time, I suspected I had a slow leak in one of my tires and told the service tech. It was the lunch hour and he said it would be about 45 min. before they could look at it. I said no problem and took a seat in the clean waiting area where there was a TV and a variety of up-​to-​date magazines. There were four people ahead of me so I settled in with the most recent People magazine to pass the time away. Within 45 minutes, my car was ready! Sure enough, I had a couple of nails in one of the tires.
The service techs were friendly and efficient and the cost of the service, $ 19.99 for repairing two leaks, was more than reasonable. I always find taking my car in for any type of service painful, but here they seem to make the experience tolerable.
