Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation

I was sent to the facility currently at this address, Tower Road Health care and Rehabilitation, by Kennestone Hospital to recover from hip surgery and a resulting infection. The care provided by this facility was horrible. The medications I needed were never provided on time. Surgical incision bandages were never changed as required unless I spent all day begging to receive proper care. Daily Physical Therapy never lasted more than 10 minutes. The food was horrible and servings were so small that I lost over 30 pounds during my stay. Nurses and staff are overworked and many have little desire or ability to properly care for patients. And finally, management refused to provide sound on the Fox News Television Network. Management would listen to my complaints and assure me that problems would be taken care of, but nothing ever improved.
I struggled everyday to survive here and if I did not stay on top of my medications, and treatments, I doubt that I would have survived. I will never forget the horrible pleas and screams from elderly patients at night begging for help that at times would last for an hour before silenced. I doubt these patients will survive if they do not have families willing to rescue them or follow up everyday to make sure they are receiving proper care. Please do not place family members in the care of these horrible people and do not place yourself in their hands. I assure you that if you do survive, you will live to regret it.
