Cancelling a membership, even for legitimate reasons like loss of a job, is very difficult and they make you pay for an extra month if u do so

Dale saved my life. I had to walk in one day for sciatic nerve pain due to a pulled muscle. They had a 30 minute slot and graciously added me in. The manager is a gem, and all the ladies that work at the front are lovely. The space is clean. Everything is very professional. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been getting monthly massages for the past 5 years. I have been a member of this company for a couple of years. They have their ups and downs but today I have finally found a therapist that surpasses even the most elite, high profile salon therapists out there! Her name is Tasha and she knows her stuff! This girl should be getting awards for how amazing her technique is! Just so you know, I am not the easiest client. I like a deep tissue massage and I come with tons knots to boot. I usually start to feel bad for most of my therapists when they start cause you can hear them breathing hard! Not this woman! Straight pro and commanded every inch of my poor body! I can’t say thank you enough Tasha and I will definitely be back to see you soon!

Read the fine print very carefully. There are all sorts of hidden costs, and a membership here is honestly not worth the money. At the end, they overcharged me and it was extremely difficult to cancel my membership. They hounded me for money and were very loathe to refund my account after I had been charged TWICE while my account was supposedly frozen. No wonder there is such a high turnover rate for the therapists, the management is extremely hard to work with!

I’ve been a member for some time now. I have to admit I was skeptical of Massage Envy and the membership program but now I love it. Don’t know how I lived prior to getting my massages. Windy Hill in particular, has awesome therapist. *****

I’ve been a member for some time now. I have favorite therapist but… I must not mention names because to each is own. I like to save up visits and spoil myself with an hour ½ massage. Yet, by the time I make my appointment I’m needing an hour ½ massage. All locations honor the membership but I truly have several favs at the Windy Hill location.

I’ve been a member for several years. Worth every dime! Don is by far the best therapist I’ve ever had for deep tissue and trigger point – and I’ve been to dozens of different therapists over the years.

I’m still occasionally surprised when I leave feeling so relaxed from a «chain» massage, but I gotta say that I love it. I bought a membership so this is a once a month«get the stress out» for me and I feel ten times better on the way home than there, and the next morning is even better. I will say the couples massage was not stellar: while you are in the same room, you can’t see each other, so the bonding and sharing was not there as I had hoped, but the service itself was still solid. Cool fact — the massages here are covered as a medical reimbursement on your FSA, so they can be turned in for reimbursement or put on that card if you have one :). Tax free massages, gotta love it!

Horrible. Worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Not only did they lose my minor consent form but they do not have a tranquility room and I specifically requested deep muscle therapy and they did not perform the two times I have been there. DONOTGOSAVEYOURMONEY.

(updated review) i will leave my original review. Please be careful of their contracts! Can not get out even when you have drs note as stated. Wonderful place and love the membership plans. We went for a one hour massage and ended up with two memberships. The massages were better than any I have ever had(even at spa sadell) people were great and prices are good.

I waited until I’d been 5 – 6 times to write a review, as the real draw at a place like this the membership. I’m happy to say I’m pleased. And surprised that a chain does a much better massage than a spa, which I supposed makes sense because they see customers regularly rather than for a special spa day once in a while. I’ve had 3 technicians, mainly because I’m picky about my times. I’ve been happy with them all and would go back to any without hesitation: Graceann, Kisa, and Don. They heavily customized to my needs and really were perfect. The front desk staff needs to be commended too. They make the experience easy and seamless, and they are unfailingly friendly. I also like the frequent reminder system.

I must say I pre-judged Massage Envy. How good could a massage be from a place that offers club membership? However, I was pleasantly surprised by the environment and my Masseuse was great. I think is name was Aerus; literally one of the best massages I’ve had.

Everything about my experience was a +. Everything was great from the friendly staff, clean lobby, wonderful massage technician(See Becca), massage, clean rooms, etc. The only problem I had was the constant pressure to sign up in one of their member plans. After the third no, I think you should stop talking about it. :) I would love to come back for a facial, another massage, but not if I am going to get asked the same questions and the constant no regarding the memberships. As far as the massage went it was the best ever! Definitely recommend the Hot Stone Massage, and ask for Becca! She always made sure I was comfortable!

The place was easy to locate from the street. The staff was a bit off putting as I arrived and had to wait in line 10 mins into the time of my appointment. Another lady of a different race walked in and was immediately checked in ahead of me. The clerk eventually apologized to me but time kept ticking away. Other than that my massage and facial went well.

Omg. I was a little reluctant to try massage envy but wanted to schedule an appointment for my mom and I ended up making the appointment for both of us. I cannot believe I waited so long. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. Tasha was awesome. She worked the knots out in my shoulders and I feel 1000% better today. She worked my entire body and I left there like a limp noodle. It was awesome. My mom loved her massage as well so we both became members. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

This was an excellent location. I am a member and have been to several Massage Envys and this one was by far the most relaxing. Like everyone else, I used Matt and he was EXCELLENT. He is the lead therapist and is extremely professional and gave an amazing massage.

It’s been about two years since I wrote my first review for Massage Envy. Yes, my favorite person still gives massages there. I’ve gotten many massages from many different massage therapists, and I still find her the best. I was a member for 2+ years with them. It cost $ 49.00/month at that time. I canceled my membership since I wanted to save some money. So when I tried to join again, they wouldn’t give me my grandfathered rate. The membership rate has gone up to $ 59.00/month. That’s out of my price range, especially since I knew what my original rate was. I’m a bit annoyed what happened. When I wanted to cancel, what I could’ve done was freeze my membership. But they never gave me that option. So I didn’t know about it. If I had frozen my account, I could’ve still kept my grandfathered rate. Oh well. Also, the salesperson that tried to get me to rejoin my membership at that higher price acted nice and sweet at the beginning. But when she found out I wasn’t gonna rejoin, she turned bitter and sour. I left with a negative impression after that. So how much is the massage if you’re not a member? Well, I think it varies by location. If you never been to Massage Envy, the introductory price seems reasonable. It’s only $ 49/hour. But if aren’t a member and already used your introductory rate, it’s $ 89/hr at this location. For me, $ 89/hour seems expensive. There are many places that give packages or deals for much cheaper. I still love my massage therapist at Massage Envy, but I can’t go back for that price. So, after that bad experience with the front of the house and the price increase, I give it 2 stars. But since I did get great massages there, I’ll give it an extra star.

Excellent and professional. The people who work at Massage envy have been nothing but great. I threw my back out last year and after one massage on my problem area, I became a member. Highly recommend it.
