Drawing on over 30 years experience, Tina McCain, owner of MerryMac, has created a positive, successful type of dog training. MerryMac teaches gentle, humanistic methods that transform even the most challenging dogs into well-​behaved pets. All classes are taught by Tina McCain, a Georgia Certified Master Dog Trainer/​Behaviorist. Tina is also a certified Associate Nose Work instructor, an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, & a Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainer’s.

Classes include: Canine Kindergarten, Beginners Obedience, Advanced Beginners, K9 Nose Work, Canine Good Citizen certification, Tricks classes & Agility for fun! Private lessons and group classes are available.

Tina McCain also specializes in behavior modification & aggression problems, with a customized program for each canine case. Canine Nutrition: individual analysis & recommendations for a healthy diet for each individual dog.

History

Established in 1999.

Tina McCain spent over 20 years in the corporate field and then changed career paths in 1999.

Tina trained & attended a school for six years to achieve her certification «By Authority of the State of Georgia, Through its Nonpublic Post Secondary Education Commission & Vocational Institutions’ Act of 1990», as a «Master Dog Educator/​Trainer».

Tina McCain has a genuine love for dogs, and it shows! Prior to founding MerryMac in 1999, Tina trained & taught at an accredited State of Georgia Post-​Secondary Vocational Dog Trainer Institution. It was there that Tina graduated at the top of her class, achieving certification as a Master Dog Educator/​Trainer. She is only one of the three certified Master Dog Trainers in the state of Georgia.

Tina sits on the board of the Westie Foundation of America, Inc, and the WHWTCA National Rescue. She was the founding president of the Westie Club of the South, is a founding member of Atlanta Terrier Club, and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

For over 25 years, she trained her Labrador Retrievers, mixed breeds, and most recently her West Highland White Terriers to obtain the AKC obedience and AKC conformation champtionshipos and Canine Good Citizen certifications.
