I routinely shop at this Publix because it is close to my work. For the most part, I’ll get something from the deli and go back to work. I usually get a sub or salad. I’ve never had anything out of the ordinary occur other than the line being long at the deli for the subs because there is usually just one employee that seems to be available to make a sub. I was in a bit of a hurry today, so I grabbed a pre made Boar’s Head Classic Italian Sandwich and a small salad. As soon as I bit into the sandwich, I noticed a strong soapy taste and immediately spit it out. When I opened up the bread, there was just a half slice of salami and 1 slice of ham. The only condiment was about 8 – 10 gooey tablespoons of what appeared to be mayonnaise, garnished with 3 slimy shreds of rancid lettuce. There was more mayonnaise than meat. I tried to call the store manager and the deli manager but both were unavailable. After 10 minutes of being on hold, I eventually got through to someone who said he was a customer service manager. I told him that I the soapy taste was awful and that the sandwich was a disgusting rip off. I expected him to take down my name and number so that I could speak to the store manager. Instead he offered an apology and said I could bring the sandwich back for a full refund of my $ 5.29 + tax. Thanks Publix!

I always shop here and find that my experience is very pleasing. Today I had an issue of my own fault in which the store manager, I believe his name was Jeff, went above and beyond to help me in such a way that would not benefit the store but did in fact help me out a lot. Customer service goes much further with me then any cleanliness of a store or product be found. It’s always nice to know that a location has someone willing to help you

Store is clean and always well stocked. I shop here on occasion. I find Publix too pricey for weekly shopping. The Bakery is much better than Kroger’s so that’s a draw for me. Produce is always good. Staff friendly and helpful.

I had an ugly experience today which started my day off wrong … I am bigger than my problems so I wont completely dog this store. Long story short the cashier was very rude and needs to go find somewhere else to work !! Why work somewhere where shopping is suppose to be a pleasure for customers? Customers shouldn’t be disrespected and feel unappreciated. I will not go into details as to what happened because I don’t want to keep others from trying this store the manager that came by to resolve the issue was very helpful and did everything he could to try to regain my business. After calling the Publix Corporate office the Assistant store manager reached out and apologized to me as well. Its a shame that now i will go out of my way to go to the powers ferry publix and vinnings publix just to avoid the store that is 2 miles from my house! I have had good times in this publix I came here on a weekly basis when I was pregnant just for the sliced cake a deli subs so I am more than disappointed that one rude associate could disgust me to resort to such drastic measures! Again very proud of the way management handled the situation. Great job to Selena, Joshua & Mike! As for the cashier I will keep it classy and not post your name but please read the following: «As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it.» Boom!

Recently started working in the area, so my review is of the area where you get the sub sandwiches and the check out. The first day of the job we went to lunch around 11 am and the line was smooth and quick, the next day we went at 12:30 and it took us almost 20 minutes to get our sandwich prepared and get back out the door. I noticed that the phone/online sandwich orders take preference over those already standing in the line. There were two people making sandwiches for online/phone orders and one person making sandwiches for the 10 or so people standing in line waiting for one. By the 4th day on the new job, I was over the sub sandwiches and wanted something from the hot bar, I’ve never tried one variety of wings that were being offered, so I asked the guy if I could sample one, he said they no longer offer samples from the hot food section. I’ve never been denied a sample in Publix so, that was surprising. Check out was fast and simple, but I find that the cashiers are a little chatty, and when you are on your lunch break, you don’t want the line held up with chit chat while you stand there ready to check out.

Why would you advertise the rotisserie chickens on sale, and not have any prepared. Was there at 2 pm only to be told it would be an hour or more before they were done. WHAT? Not good customer service, why advertise product and not have any tosell, now I know why I don’t shop here.

I don’t know who is writing these reviews but you’ve obviously never been to Newer grocery store. They don’t even have a chicken wing drumettes that you can buy. Frozen food section is way overpriced and nothing is ever on sale. I walked in there twice and walked out of there twice both times with nothing in my hand. The store is very old looking and dirty. The store looks like it was built in the 1960s and hasn’t had an update since then. Check out cashiers were just standing there staring up at the ceiling chewing gum. Staff may be helpful but I wouldn’t know because they have never greeted me. I would rather go to Harry’s market, prices are the same.

By far the best Publix I have ever been in! The produce section is great and the whole store is so well laid out. Very friendly employees. Kind of hard to get in and out of, depending on which direction you’re coming from, need a couple more registers open. But by far well worth the extra mile or so drive for me for the quality of the store.

Same great subs as always, but plan on taking it to-go as there are no tables at this location.

«Why don’t you pretend this whole thing is a basket full of groceries and get sacked?» — The Comebacks(2007) This has to be the largest Publix around — which is great because I know they will have everything I need. However, it is not convenient for me for regular grocery shopping. But when I am in the area and need something — this is where I will go. The people are usually pretty friendly and helpful, the store is laid out very thoughtfully and smartly, and things are very easy to find. Everything is well-stocked and there are plenty of choices. The checkers always ask if I was able to find everything okay — the answer is usually yes. The place is clean and there are plenty of staffed check-out lines. There is a ton of parking — also this is great. They have 2 Redbox machines as well. I’m a fan, I just wish this one was closer to me.

Love, love, LOVE my local Publix. When I’m not in the mood to shop for groceries, I somehow find my attitude shifting when I walk into the store. The staff is always helpful without being overbearing. I especially enjoy the sense of family, which of course, is their goal. I always visit Publix before going to any of the other grocers within a 0.5 mile radius. I definitely recommend them over any chain grocer.

Great Bakery This is a review of only the Bakery in this store. If the rest of the store is like the Bakery, it’s really a great place. We were in town for a combination Thanksgiving/Christmas with my sons and their wives since we can not be here for Christmas. Dec 2 is also my eldest son’s Birthday and at the last minute, we decided to get a birthday cake to present to him over dinner. The staff in the bakery were very helpful and the young lady who decorated his cake has great artistic ability. That said, the cake as delicious as well. We’re getting our first Publix in Cornelius NC after the first of the year and I hope it’ss half a good as this one. The ones we have encountered on our Florida trips have generally been good and I hope they continue the trend with the opening of this new store.

I’m so happy that this Publix is here. It’s always super clean and the staff is very friendly. The prices are fair, especially if you find a good BOGO deal. I was always a Kroger shopper(being from SW Ohio) but this Publix converted me. Hallelujah!

This Publix is great to get some stuff on the go. The deli counter people are very friendly and the lines are short and move pretty quickly. You can also find more variety of certain ethnic products here better than at other Publix in the area. However, I DO prefer the bigger type of Publix but overall this is a great supermarket.

This is my favorite local grocery store. I feel it is cleaner and better stocked than others. They have recently remodeled a bit and it is taking me some time to get used to the new layout, but they did a nice job of refurbishing much of the store. Also, many of the employees have gotten to know my family and we have gotten to know them. It is great to have a relationship like this with a local store.

Though I do like Publix over other stores, this location is sad. The staff don’t greet you and most of the time they’re texting on the phone or standing around chatting. I go 4 miles out of my way to another one because the service is sad.

So I didn’t feel like cooking anything, but I wanted to eat something healthy. Anyway I decided to go to the Publix down the street for one of those subs everybody keeps raving about. I ended up ordering one of their ultimate subs, which had roast beef, ham, turkey, swiss, and lettuce, tomato, bell peppers, onion, and spicy mustard. I also bought some of their store made sushi, more specifically their California roll. I paid for everything up front at the check out lane and decided to eat my treats(and share! too much food) at home. The sub was really good, the bread was really fresh and had a crispy crust and a soft inside, yummy! The toppings themselves were really fresh and just delicious. Their sushi tends to be pretty good for grocery store sushi… I actually lived on this stuff while I was on rotations and didn’t feel like cooking and paying out the ass for expensive sushi when I was a student. Anyway I can certainly say that I’m a fan! #365 Unilocal 13⁄365

This is now my neighborhood Publix since I moved about 6 months ago. Really, it’s not much different than any other OTP Publix… nothing sufficiently notable for it to earn some moniker like the Pick Up Publix or The Kroghetto. But, what won me over is that the deli is open late. So even when I roll through here at 9:30 in the pm, I can still get my deli meats. And everyone is always friendly and helpful. These are big differences to me compared to just about every Kroger I have been to where it seems the del counter is usually closed by 8 and the people just seem like a bunch of surly inmates serving 5 to 7.
