Business Owner

Dr. Debra Rowell graduated from Mississippi State University in 1986. She received both the Gerry L. Grand Humane Award and the Senior Companion Medicine Award. She graduated with honors.

Growing up in rural MS gave me many wonderful experiences with cats and dogs. My first cat was a calico named Cinderella. My mom and I were all about saving cats that others had turned their backs on. My decision to be a feline veterinarian came from my background of growing up around all kinds of cats, some sweet and purry and some feral that had not had the human touch. I first said I would be a veterinarian when I was ten years old. I feel it was more of a calling than a career choice. Someone once said… Let your work be your passion then your work will not seem like“work.” This is the way my job is for me. It is the greatest job ever and one that I am proud to be apart of.
