The Scholastic Editor LLC, was founded by Clare Xanthos, PhD in January 2014. It started off as a sole proprietorship, and became an LLC in June 2015. In July 2015, the business was accredited by The Better Business Bureau (BBB).

I am a US-​based academic editor, with a doctorate in Social Policy (London School of Economics). I provide academic editing, proofreading, and manuscript review services to professors, researchers, and students.

I was previously an assistant professor/​senior researcher at Morehouse School of Medicine, and have 16 years of experience in academic writing. As an experienced academic writer, I’m ideally placed to help you at all stages of the writing process — from initial research idea to finalizing your document!
