History

Established in 2009.

David Reiff and Justin Wetherill founded uBreakiFix in April 2009. They both attended the University of Central Florida. The company began in a college dorm room after Wetherill went to Reiff for help in fixing a broken iPhone. They started by offering repairs on Ebay and Craigslist and would repair around 7 phones per day. Currently, there are over 140 locations nationwide.

Jason, Evan and Lawton have provided a great service and exceptional experience for us. We originally came in with iPhone 6 needing to have a screen replacement and in addition it had water damage. Shortly after that we came in for iMac hard drive replacement. All repairs were completed expeditiously to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend their services…

Previous review: Took my son’s ps4 here to have it repaired for an hdmi issue, which they have to send a NYC company to actually do. When I relieved the device back, within 2 weeks the device would no longer take an update and all the data (except 2 games and some progress) was all gone. IMO this place is not a place I would use again or trust with my devices. So I am out $ 300+ device and even more in saved progress.
Updated review: Jeff (owner) contacted me and made everything right by fixing the device by reinstalling the OS. All is good now. Thanks Jeff for paying attention and understanding my issue and situation.

Just Excellent! I don’t want to have a phone or computer issue again but if I do I know I’ll be taken care of with these guys. I had recently been to three different shops and needless to say I never thought my phone was ever going to get fixed. For months my front camera and front speaker were not working. Was referred to these guys and in less than 30min had my phone fixed !!! It was even cheaper than what they originally told me. Amazing Customer Service, they will not disappoint!
