Run! Run as fast as you can from this facility! Very in-​efficient and milks the insurance and patient for all they can. Rude staff!

Extremely rude staff… provide incorrect information and were extremely disrespectful. I would never set foot in this place again.

Wonderful clean office, wonderful friendly professional staff, and Dr Carl Kihm is the best podiatrist I have ever had in over 30 yrs. I appreciate doctors who treat people with respect, are not condescending, listen and explain when you have questions.

So, as my injured-​foot-​saga has continued (Please, Lord, let this aggravation be over soon!!), I needed to do a follow up visit with the podiatrist who first treated me at Wellstar Kennesaw, Dr. Carl Kihm.
Last week, Dad and I ventured to the Marietta offices of Dr. Kihm and partners (they also have an outpost in Douglasville; note– the different Village Podiatry Centers are separately run so check this group out here —
or Google «Village Podiatry» to find other groups’ locations). We were promptly greeted by nice staff, and had to wait only a few minutes for my appointment. Dr. Kihm is very kind and did an efficient assessment of my hurt foot, after I got foot and ankle x-​rays. Verdict: looking good, I got the ok to get a pedi (Thank goodness! My feet were looking pretty hinky.. .) and need to come back for a procedure next week where he will remove part of the other side of my big toenail (to prevent ingrowns, which are frequent for me and also very typical after this kind of toenail injury and partial nail removal) and apply a chemical treatment that basically cauterizes and «seals» the nail so that the skin can grow back on each side and all will be healed (yeahhh, I am not looking forward to this so much…sigh Note to self: make two trips when carrying in groceries and you’ll have a better chance of NOT stumbling and falling off the curb and incurring injuries!).
I hope I don’t need much future foot-​care, but if I do, I will definitely be seeing Dr. Kihm again.
