Walgreens

I enjoy shopping at Walgreen’s they have great sales, pharmacy, and they are convenient. And I do participate in the rewards points program and I believe it is good marketing. However, I think it is time consuming checking out and they usually only have one register open. Walgreen’s needs to do a better job at training the cashiers on how to be efficient while checking people out at the register while utilizing this marketing program. Recently, I choose to get my flu shot there and she gave me an extra rewards points coupon to use only for that time. They embarrassed me at the register trying to use the rewards points for the flu shot with a long explanation. There were 10 people in line behind me trying to check out and we were stuck on my transaction. Another cashier came and it took so long and they couldn’t reason through it. I’m sorry to all those people who were in line behind me, it wasn’t my fault and I thought it was rude and embarrassing experience. I did their survey for the first time to please improve this process.

Well, I stand corrected. I did go back one hour later and without mentioning my dissatisfaction, the clerk and the P.A. asked me if I was the guy who they turned away. When I said yes, they both thanked me for coming back and apologized.

I love this pharmacy!!!

The pharmacy here is open until 10pm and the store is 24 hours. Both very convenient. The best part about the pharmacy is that the staff are friendly and very quick. I was in and out in five minutes around 9 pm. I recommend this pharmacy over the CVS down the street, the staff is much better here.
