Zaxby’s

I love this place! Their service is always prompt and friendly. The food always comes piping hot and smells so good! We always get the chicken fingers plate but have a replacement and the order has always been correct. And I can’t say enough about the zax sauce! I highly recommend this place!

I will be honest– I come to Zaxby’s for their cookies and cream milkshakes! I had no idea Zaxby’s shakes were so good until my husband brought me one home one day and goodness I’m sold! The cookie and cream shakes are good but I suggest trying a chocolate cookie and cream shake– you’ll thank me later! I also enjoy their salads which is surprising because you don’t expect a good salad at a fast food restaurant. Their salads always taste fresh and they are rather large for the price you pay!

We have eaten here twice, since my initial review. Sadly, service and food quality has dropped somewhat. Of particular note, the franchise owner/​manager was not on the premises these last two times.
This past Friday we walked in, and the place was like a deep freeze, more like a frozen meat locker. Wearing jackets helped the situation. The youthful cashier did not give us the correct change. The salads were smaller than usual, and the plates had food debris on them. There was more than adequate staff, yet I did not see an employee both times we were there cleaning tables, drink stations, etc.
I observed the staff while I was eating, and it appears they are in need of mature supervision and better training. During our initial visit to this new Zaxby’s in August, we met the franchise owner, Mike. With Mike there, I noticed the staff was always very busy and focused on customer service, so perhaps this is just a simple case of how the mice will play when the cat is not there.

Food was ok, the fries were cold, yes cold… but this place was nasty. About every table was dirty ann the beverage area was gross. We were one of only two sets of people here. Three employees just hanging out. What I would tell my employees «got time to lean, got time to clean». I will say the person that waited on us was courteous and the food was decent except the fries were cold, like not even room temp… bit clean this place up. This location is new.

This is the first time I’ve tried the black and blue grilled chicken salad. Love the presentation in the upscale bowls. The chicken had good flavor was fresh and very tasty.
The GM Mike Griffin was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We also had a nice visit at our table by Lynn who handles the catering and marketing.
