Dr. Kent specializes in working with adults and teenagers who are at a transitional and challenging point in their lives. She helps them define, discover, and embrace who they are and who they want to become.
Dr. Kent has been an educator and administrator in both the public and private sectors. Her tenure as a senior faculty professor included assisting students on career objectives and goal achievements. Additionally, she taught the capstone course (the final master’s thesis class) and undergraduate psychology. She has also worked in vocational schools to assist individuals in transitioning into the work sector and into different careers.
Her educational background includes a Masters in Administration from Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ) and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Union Institute and University (Cincinnati, OH), both accredited universities. Her clinical psychology internship was primarily devoted to transitions/developments and grief counseling.
History
Established in 1998.
Private Sector: Dr. Kent works with individuals, couples, and families with goal achievements and transitions. Sessions are done primarily with scheduled telephone contact or skype. Hours are more flexible and preferred by patients. Onsite is also available.
Public Sector: Dr. Kent works with various industries on company efficiency and employee issues, which include downsizing, job reassignment, and location moves.
