Get Waxed

**UPDATE** So I reached out to Groupon and they provided me with about $ 80 worth of Groupon Bucks… which is exactly what I was hoping for!
All in all, I told my side and owned what went wrong. It doesn’t matter what I consented to, I DID NOT consent to being disrespected. The text Elisha sent regarding my no show was unprofessional and disrespectful, and I responded accordingly (and I stand by everything I said). This has nothing to do with wanting to be right, and everything to do with how ill-​mannered she is.
The funny thing is she sent me this rude message, then stated the solution would have been for ME to apologize and ask to come in later that day. I wake up to her angry as* rant, not even having the opportunity to call/​text first… BUT I should have apologized… oh okay, in what world? I’ve accidentally missed appointments before, and other REAL PROFESSIONALS never reacted in this manner… it was as simple as me calling to apologize profusely, doing damage control, and all was right with the world.
It’s sad that she lacks the basic understanding to realize that the way she spoke to me was unacceptable. I guess you can’t teach an old dog, new tricks. But this is OFFICIALLY a non-​issue :) …I essentially got Groupon money towards a new purchase! So i’m happy about that.

I love Get Waxed! I’ve been going to Elisha for the past 5 years, and she has been exceptional! I send all my friends to get to get their «whatever» waxed! And she’ll clean that shit up! Lol. She’s great! Just go to her… you won’t be disappointed.

This lady I am SURE she does really great waxes. HOWEVER, be ware if you are buying on GROUPON. A company who offers discounts shouldn’t treat their potential customers as she did me. Here’s what went wrong.
I called her last week, she was very rude to begin with. She starts off asking if I have a groupon. Which is very weird and it raised a red flag, it was as if she booked us with a different criteria. (I let that go, and continued to book with her) then she goes on and on about groupon people never tipping and she has a different process for people with a groupon, so I should have mentioned that I have one from the beginning of our convo. That was strike 2. Then she told me that «she hates to mention this, but she wanted to be sure I know» and it was the tipping. To be SURE that I left her a good tip, because I already have a discount. That was strike 3.
I’m normally a great tipper, but when I felt ambushed and uncomfortable from a conversation, what makes me think I feel comfortable her waxing my lady parts.
It was supposed to be my first wax and she DID NOT make me feel comfortable.
Then. I honestly forgot her whole rant about cancellation and that if I ever cancel within the time she considers is sufficient she will go ⁵¹⁄₅₀.
Today, she text me asking if I am coming to my appointment. I text back saying I couldn’t and I couldn’t find her number. Which I honestly forgot it’s on groupon. She was again, rude to me and I went off.
She really needs to work on customer service. She then had the audacity to say if I wrote a bad Unilocal review then she will let groupon know I was mean to her. Little did she know, I was already ahead of her. I called groupon last weekend and asked for a full return. I was granted my money back. She’s a true ass hole. Be ware if you have groupon, she clearly sees that clientele different than other.
I would have gave her ZERO stars, but I am forced to put one

Elisha is a skin master! And has the most amazing face skin to boot! Her products are ridiculously delicious and organic and her waxing is quick and kinda fun! Fun because we talk and laugh the whole time. Elisha, Get Waxed and all her products are whole step above.

This place was great. Elisha really makes you feel comfortable and she knows her stuff. She is also textable and easy to reach. I would never call brazilians comfortable… but she def makes it as good as it gets!

Visited Get Waxed today for an appointment with Elisha. Wonderful, soothing experience. Got a brazilian wax, no problems. Elisha was flexible with scheduling and helpful with the process, definitely experienced. It was a successful experience! I booked four more future sessions. Thank you Elisha for being patient and conscientious with this pregnant woman– I recommend.

Elisha is wonderful. She has been my go to in LA for years. She does an excellent job everytime. She is quick and your wax is practically painless. Elisha is an expert at waxing! And she has the highest standards. No double dipping at Get Waxed! Clean and friendly environment. I highly recommend Get Waxed!
And her facials are fabulous too!
