They are open and deliver on Sunday’s. Overall was ok. The mushroom veggies dish was good. Spring rolls where ok. They did not have broccoli beef that my girlfriend ask for but they made it for us, which was really good customer care. Took 50 minutes for delivery. Good for a quick bite and delivery.

The best Thai food I have ever had! We had the cream cheese wontons for an appetizer and then ordered Pad Thai, Pad See, and a type of green curry with pork. The won tons were piping hot and deliciously creamy. Usually I don’t like Pad Thai since it tends to be sweeter but there’s was really good, not too sweet. The Pad See was hands down my favorite! Like I am coming here again just for this dish! Now normally I am not a curry person but this green curry was delicious and the spices didn’t kick me in the face like some curries do. Washed it all down with some deliciously sweet Thai Tea. Definitely worth the trip out there!

So we have been coming to this place for years now and the food has been generally decent. But on a recent trip it was disappointing. Service lacked big time food quality and portions are off and the price has jumped considerably. I am not one to knock a local hang out, but they need to get their business together. No need for all the small details, but I think there are other choices for Thai.

This place is always good! Reasonable prices and good service! Not always the easiest to get to when traveling east on Washington and I wish parking was a bit better.

Very good thai food at very reasonable prices. I tried the Pad Thai lunch special(less than $ 10) and it came with egg roll, rice, and green salad. Awesome experience.

The food at this place is fantastic– it even has a vegan menu! The first time I ate there we dined in and the service was pretty poor, however the food was incredible. The second time I ordered delivery and again, the food was so good. I highly recommend the cashew tofu!

I’ve been frequenting this Thai restaurant a lot especially since I am in the Westside for a lot of business and this is our favorite Thai place. Customer service is down to earth & always nice. It can get a bit crowded though & I feel like the other customers here are a bit loud or obnoxious, which is not the restaurant’s fault. This is a great place to chill. I have tried their Crab Fried Rice, which is a little on the expensive side, but worth it due to it’s seasonings.

I was very happy to find out that this place offers an extensive Vegan menu. You can get soy chicken, soy beef or Tofu with almost any dish. It is good to know that I have a place in my neighborhood that not only has a great intimate atmosphere but also offers so many satisfying, healthy non meat options !

I think it’s time I updated my review, seeing as my original review was from 2011 and reading back, my tastes have totally changed! I love East Wind Thai. It is my absolute favorite place to get authentic Thai food. I used to get the pad Thai but these days I always order the chicken yellow curry(I ask for it spicy). It’s so delicious. The broth is flavorful, the chicken is tender and the potatoes are oh so good. I love that it doesn’t have carrots cause that’s not my favorite in a curry and a lot of places add it. I love that I live close enough to get it delivered, and we do delivery often. My usually husband gets the beef pad Thai or the spicy mint noodles with beef. He likes to explore the menu and has raved about everything he’s ordered. We usually do an egg roll appetizer which is great. Their egg rolls are crispy and perfect. I work a few blocks away so this is convenient for lunch. Their lunch special is spectacular. You get a main dish, soup or salad and rice… all for a low price. Can’t beat it. Highly recommended, and I’m kind of a Thai food snob.

I had the pineapple fried rice(too much curry taste for me, personally) but I am sure others would love it. The pad thai was pretty good, too. I had it delivered and they were really fast and efficient. Maybe it would’ve tasted a bit better if I had eaten there. However, GREAT portion size for the price! Many leftovers for me! :)

Sad to see one of my favorites fall in this ever changing restaurant musical chairs. There are just to many places that get Thai food right. I remember when the only place to get fresh veggies on Washington was this place. I brought my husband here to give him a real introduction to Thai food. First course Fish Cake– I have seen the most humble Thai Restaurants get this right and right out the gate we get Twice or possibly third time reheated/fried cakes. I almost sent them back but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Here comes the papaya salad. Whew… Some of the papaya was off of the rind and not ‘young or ‘green’ trust me I know. And some old tomato wedges were tossed in to add ‘breadth’! It was palatable at least. It absorbed some of the grease from the fish cake. Now for the easy dish. That is what my hubby thought who likes to try new things sparingly, so he ordered shrimp fried rice. It was also re-fried and greasy. Out of politeness he ate ¼ of the plate and we did not send the food back. Now I had to order him a Thai iced tea! He never tried it before. Let me tell you that the flavor was fine, but the milk tasted watered down, and maybe was not milk. By this time my husband is never coming to anywhere else I suggest. I am so upset that we have stopped talking by the middle of dinner, and the waitresses only look at us from far away to acknowledge our requests and if the food is ok. Which prohibits an ‘just fine’ look because how can you complain when the person is not even in speaking distance. Finally my drunken noodles come out. The only ones not greasy because I ordered it with no meat and they probably had to prepare it when I ordered… imagine? It tastes fine to me and my politely upset husband keeps eating his rice refusing to state the truth, that it tasted like the grill and grease and not like freshly crisped rice with onion and plump shrimps. So I give 2 stars because my dish came out fine, but I will take my happy body to the grocery next time and Fix my own favorite Thai dishes at home like usual next time. Thanks Thai East Wind for not splurging on any new decorations for the past 10 years and not wasting food by reheating your fried foods and dishes. Really good move.(Sarcasm) I will not be bringing anyone back here unless they ‘know how’ to order from a ghetto restaurant and order everything ‘special’ LOL PLEASETRYHARDERYOURROOTSARESOSTRONG! This used to be a really good family run restaurant.

Tried this for lunch today and left happy. I ordered the Panang lunch special with tofu. It came with a salad or soup option. I had the salad which was large, fresh and had a delicious peanut dressing. The Panang was very mild, but flavorful, which is how I like my Thai food. The cost is very affordable, especially considering the portion amounts and extras that come with the meal(soup/salad/eggroll).

I get take out here all the time. Love it. Green curry is my fav but I always try and get something new. Get it spicy, it will make you sweat but it’s worth it. Don’t forget the Thai iced tea!

We started with an order of Spring Rolls and then I ordered Massamun Chicken, and was pleasantly surprised by how hearty it tasted without feeling TOO heavy. We didn’t read any reviews before coming, and I have to say that for the taste and value the food was really great. In particular, the chicken was quite yummy and tender, and I’m picky if it is too dry, too chewy, etc. I would say potential for 5 star food in my book, but it took a while for our initial service and the lights kept flickering slightly during our meal.

A while back when I came here, I requested to make a dish without fish sauce because I’m vegan. Many Thai restaurants offer this option, but they couldn’t comply with my request, so I left being disappointed and hungry. The other day, I googled for vegan Thai, and a place came up near where I live. Delighted, I went to the address, and I arrived here — They now have a separate kitchen for vegan dishes! And everything we tried was so yummy!!! If they add Rad Na and Pad Woo Sen to the vegan menu, my rating will go up to five!

New favorite Thai spot. Lunch specials are super cheap, and really good. Portions are smaller than average but the quality is higher so that balances in my opinion. This place is way cuter than most inexpensive asian spots around, and service is good! I had bamboo shoots lunch special, and my guy had Pad Thai(ever the adventurer) both were yummy, and the salad with lunch has peanut sauce dressing on the side, soup was Tom Yum instead of boring vegetable like is common. We were happy campers :]

This place has come under new management and changed its recipes and the food is now inedible. DONOTEATHERE. The once great yellow curry is now filled with rock-hard vegetables that are mostly unidentifiable. The pad thai is bland. The formerly crispy and delicious egg rolls are now soggy. As a loyal customer for over ten years, I first took my concerns to the restaurant but they refused to let me speak to a manager. Instead they keep making me repeat the problem and taking messages, but no one calls me back. Good thing there are 3 other thai places within walking distance. Ekkamai Thai just became my number one.

Thieves! I order food over the phone and two hours later the driver arrives with cold food. After I paid the bill, which seemed abnormally high, I looked at there menu prices online a quickly find out i was overcharged $ 16.27 on the order. I call them and they acknowledge that the driver overcharged me and they tell me he is on his was back to my apartment and will call me when he gets there. I tell them the food arrived cold, 2 hours late, and I was drastically overcharged. At this point i wanted to give them all the food back(uneaten) for a refund when the driver returned my change. They agreed and said the driver would be on his way. I repackage all the food and let it sit for another hour. An hour later the driver calls and says he is already home and cannot return my change or pick up the food. He apologized and convinces me to keep the food by offering a $ 24 credit on my next order. He assures me it will be in the system next time i call and there will not be a problem. I realize mistakes happen so i agree, but I paid in cash so I didn’t really have a choice. I call back a week late and talk to Diana. She tells me it is not in the system and that there is no manager available to talk to and that I will not be getting any credit. So in summary they blatantly ripped me off $ 16.27 and for the money I spent I got cold food that resembled a condensed pile of soup. The food that did arrive must have been left out for well over an hour. Stay away and avoid the headache, there are plenty of good thai options in the Marina and this is not one of them. These people literally stole my money, the driver was likely trying to scam his way into a bigger tip after arriving over 2 hours after the order was called in.
