Specializing in fresh sandwiches, salad and seasonal fare. Call ahead for a basket of sandwiches for your next gathering or boxed lunches for the boat! We serve croissants, bagels and egg sandwiches starting at 8am with lunch available at eleven. Check out our weekend prepared sandwiches to grab and go! SUNDAY: We’re open for coffee and bagels and to-​go sandwiches. WE CLOSE AT NOON! (because we want to hit the beach too!)

History

Established in 2014.

Kate’s Simple Eats was opened in September 2014 by owner Kate Ross. In an effort to bring more people to the beautiful Village of Marion, she opened this small cozy café behind her home interiors store, Dean Ross Home. Both the store and the café are a venue to promote what Kate’s loves most… feeding people in a casual, inviting, simple manner.

Kate brings her love of food and design into the Village of Marion with two business ventures, Dean Ross Home and Kate’s Simple Eats. Her philosophy about design is very much geared around food, so the opening a café was the natural next step. «I love to feed people and cooking can be such a creative process. I want people to come in and get inspired! Its about a casual and comfortable setting where you can visit with people over a delicious meal. My goal is to make sure everyone has a warm and welcoming experience when they visit!»
