Mr. Ivan Filev has over 20 years of experience in designing various structural systems for a wide range of commercial, public housing, student housing, office buildings, schools, retail stores, mixed use buildings, and special structures in structural steel, concrete, wood and other structural materials.

My professional career started in 1985 after I graduated from the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Sofia Bulgaria with specialty in Structural Engineering. I worked for major state Architectural and Engineering companies and designed residential, commercial and heavy industrial buildings and structures. After 1998 I moved to USA and worked for companies as Souza True and Partners, Cubellis and Bay State Design. During my work in the USA I designed variety of projects as residential, commercial, office and health care building, malls and structures for cellular phone carriers. At the end of 2011 I started my own design company under the name Ivan Filev Consulting, Structural Engineer, LLC. So far I completed close to 200 projects with different size and budget. I am licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts ant throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and California.
