After a long drawn out process with the Burlington store, we had our rings shipped to Kay in Marlborough because we moved and it was closer to our new home. We originally ordered our rings in Burlington in January. After being sized incorrectly by their staff twice, we went to the Marlborough store who actually knew their stuff. They(finally) were able to correctly size my fiancés ring and placed our order in March. We were told we would get a call shortly after placing our order to confirm the ring was in. Three weeks after hearing nothing, I finally called and they said they would find out for us. After a couple of days they called me back saying they were not able to get a hold of where the ring was coming from. At this point we were both fed up with Kay so we decided to just go to the store and return the ring and go somewhere else. When we got to the store they told us that they could order a new ring and get it to us by August(which probably really meant November based on how long it already took). However they were able to find out the ring had been shipped and was on its way. Finally after 5 months we have the ring in the correct size. Moral of the story, don’t buy from Kay jewelers unless want to waste a lot of time and energy. We had to be extremely proactive with the staff in order to make sure we got our rings. If we hadn’t called/showed up at the store multiple times I believe we would still be waiting. I think 5+ months is an extremely long time for a simple men’s wedding band.

We have visited several store of Kay’s and most of my jewelry were bough from Kay’s. But I’m not truly happy with the serviced. And today we went to the Kay’s at Solomon Pond Mall and I highly recommend Jennae for anyone looking to have a great helpful service for choose your wedding band. All of our requests were filled by Jennae and we couldn’t ask for anything more.

My engagement ring is from Kay. Along with the ring came a warranty plan that involves getting the ring inspected and cleaned every six months. I always bring my ring to be inspected at this location. It’s a quick and efficient experience, even if there are customers in the store. They also resized my ring once and though it had to be sent out of the store, they kept me updated on the status and called me as soon as it was available for pick up. The employees are knowledgeable and able to answer any questions or special requests. My ring is always sparkling when I leave! I wouldn’t hesitate to make any other jewelery purchases here.
