This facility has numerous locations in Massachusetts. So, my comments about a particular lab only apply to the Chestnut Hill lab. My primary issue with the company is the horrible phone phone system Quest employs. It’s totally automated(no way that I could get to a human being; though, I didn’t checked to see if I could make an appt. online… So, younger techies who prefer to make an appointment online, might do fine). Regardless, the phone system only allows you to plug in a specific location, and wait for the automated voice quote a 1st. available appointment time on a specific day, going through each time offered, until you find one you feel will work for you(unless you have a specific time you want, since it will inform if the requested one is available), in which case, you still have to wait for a response back from the system(very slow). In my case, the 1st, available appointment was later than when I wanted one. I ended up going through 3 lab locations before I ended up compromising on a timeframe that had been offered by the first location(as mentioned, not really the timeframe what I wanted, which was during their hours). My other issue with Quest is that when you arrive at the Rt. 9 building, there is no clearly-visible signage indicating where the lab is located in the building. Granted, you’re provided the«suite“number when making the appointment. But, that actual suite number doesn’t exist. There are two suites with that number, one marked«a» and another«b». If you’re sharp enough on the first walk-through to read the signage on the door under the PRIMARYOCCUPANT’s sign for that suite, you might notice that the Quest lab is located inside that office, in a small space(I suspect a sub-let). When walking into this primary medical office, you’d probably assume(as I did) that you’re talking to Quest Labs, when in fact, you are not. I was directed through this office into a corridor where the actual lab is separately located. I felt very confused about where to go until I finally got to the lab, which is the size of a walk-in closet. Once in the lab, the lab technician was quite professional and helpful. I have no complaints about her work. Just be prepared to go through hoops getting an appointment, if using the phone system, and for finding the actual lab. They should scrap that automated phone system(or find a better one), better mark where their facility is located, and provide a more detailed description of where the lab is located over the phone, as the appointment is made.
