Le Cafe Creperie

Went there and DIDN’T have banana foster… Dinner was really good. Waitress came to clear our table and we asked about dessert. Her reply at 8:05 was, «Sorry, we’re closed.» They may make good food but have ZERO customer service skills. Creperie… more like craperie.

I reallllly wanted to love this place. But, I didn’t love it at all. I liked it, but probably not enough to go back unless it’s for the original reason I book marked it… to try their dessert crepes. I had time to kill before a salon appointment, so I stopped here for brunch. They have a pretty decent menu. Savory crepes, dessert crepes, panini sandwiches and stuff for kids. I ordered the Ham and Brie crêpe which came with sliced tomatoes and spinach. You had your choice or Brie or Swiss, but when I got it, it was cheese overload. Apparently it’s not really either/​or, it’s both cheeses. Every bite had a ton of cheese. Listen, I’m no disser of cheese… I happen to be a big fan, this was just too much in my opinion. It was served with a side of honey mustard and was surprised to hear that they do not have ketchup in this restaurant. Not that they were out, but rather they don’t stick ketchup as a condiment for patrons. What? Oooook lol. The crêpe itself was light, thin and tasty but the innards were less than fantastic. The service was ok. Not friendly, not unfriendly. When I went to the restroom, I was walking back to my table and looked over and saw 3 out of 4 employees on their cell phones. The odd one out was just looking around smiling. With all of the other food options in the area, I doubt I’ll be back. I left the place full, just not satisfied.

4 or 5 stars? no way dirty, waitress and cook look miserable, had to beg for water, pepper etc… food was ok at best, tomato soup was Campbells grade, onion soup ok but not for $, and crepes average at best not going to make it

This place has great food. Supper friendly owner too! We had the nanwiches, the French onion soup and the Brie crêpe

I was hoping to be wow’d here but wasn’t. I WAS a bit partial b/​f I even tried our food b/​c of the huge Nutella containers spaced along the counter & tempting me. I think LeCafe Creperie pays homage to the company or something!
We started with coffee and Nutella hot chocolate. Oh, how I wish I opted for that. It was sooo good — like they got Nutella into a liquefied state and poured it in a glass! Yum!
The coffee was okay. Nothing special about it at all.
My apple pie crêpe was really good, even though they were out of the almonds that were supposed to be part of my dish. No big whoop.
Vince got a really good banana foster’s waffle that was really quite good.
I guess b/​c we skipped breakfast and it was 11 a. m, our food filled our back teeth only.
The manager (?) was quite nice and seemed to oversee the open grill quite closely.
I’d go again for the Nutella hot chocoalte but wouldn’t make a special trip for the crepes, although very good. I’d rather go across the street to ‘Turning Point’ — my favorite breakfast haunt to date!

A craving for crepes brought us here on a late Saturday morning. I was a bit concerned that it might be busy, but was pleasantly surprised to see that there was plenty of seating. I’m not sure if this was an off day or hour, but the lack of crowd was not indicative of quality in any way.
Tricia ordered the apple pie (?) crêpe, and was informed that one of the ingredients was not available, the almond slivers. She decided that was no biggie, and kept to her choice. It was very good, but I think the added crunch and nuttiness would have made the dish even better. I also was left wondering how hard it would have been to send one of the several servers out to a nearby supermarket for them.
To sample something different I opted for the bananas foster waffle. It was great although a little smaller than diner waffles. But it is unfair to compare the two. This one was an irregular shape with caramelized sugar on many of the edges. The super ripe banana was sautéed in a sweet rum sauce, and it was served with a good vanilla ice cream. This was breakfast or dessert worthy.
Both of our portions were smallish, so in retrospect I felt we should have ordered more items. On my next visit I will most likely start with something savory, then end with something sweet. Also of interest are the dishes that utilize the homemade naan. This clean and cute shop satisfied our craving temporarily, and left us wanting more. We’ll be back.

Nice cozy shop in a strip mall. Had the french onion soup, which was pretty good — broth was not too salty like most places. It was topped with what seemed to be a mix of cheese and crêpe.
Entrée was a Chipotle crêpe — which has chicken, tomatoes, cheese„ and lettuce. Was delicious, except I felt there was a bit too much chipotle sauce on it. Would love to go back and try the desert crepes.

Great place to go! You see them cook the food, so you know what’s going into the food. Fresh ingredients– so the not so guilty feeling afterwards.

Liege Belgian Waffle’s Strawberry & Cream ~ & ~ Egg BrieCheese, Spinach Ham Crêpe!!!

I had a really enjoyable dinner here. I finished up at the salon next door and figured I would treat myself to a crêpe. The server was very attentive. I had the French onion soup and a crêpe with nutella, whipped cream and strawberries. Yum and yum! As I was walking out, the owner (I assume) came over to ask me how everything was and proudly showed me an award they had just received. How cute! This owner takes pride in his restaurant. Let’s try to keep them there!

I had the Best experience today! I went to this amazing place and it was the best crepes I have ever had. I had my 1 year old son with me and he was a bit fussy but everyone that worked there came over and talked to me and him, joked with him and weren’t made or mean toward me because of his temper. The food was AMAZING! I cannot wait to bring more of my family and friends there again. I recommend this place a million times over! Go. Try it out. You WILL NOT regret that. I had the ranchero crêpe and my son and the classic Nutella :) amaaaaazzinggggg!

Great tasting crepes that were a nice size.
The menu could use a few more crêpe options but I enjoyed the Chipotle I ordered.
I also had an Apple Nutty sweet crêpe which was also tasty.
The downside are the prices which are a little steep.

The menu alone should give it away. It’s a Creperie, yeah, but it’s more like blah Mediterranean stuffed in a crêpe.
On the plus side, the owner is very friendly.
I’d only go back for a traditional dessert crêpe.

The combo savory & sweet deal was great! You get two different crepes and they are a very nice portion size.
The dessert crepes are my favorite. I hate Nutella and strawberrys with whipped cream. So good!
The menu options were very good and everything sounded good. I could eat there every day!

Oo La La …
Ok, I will admit I was in the mood for Thai. But the Thai restaurant that I remembered so fondly had apparently closed up shop nearly two years ago. I guess either that lemongrass purveyor created amazing food items or my memory is fading … had to be the food.
So feeling totally disappointed Megan proclaims … there’s a CREPE PLACE! Now, you need to understand that Megan loves anything related to Paris ever since she saw Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
So in we go into a nicely designed café of sorts … ok so this Route 73 (You can even call it Route 70 if you like because that boulevard is close by.) creperie is not on the Champs D’Elyse but I will tell you they provide a wonderful meal that will get you dreaming of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
Service was excellent … we arrived at a slow moment in time so I cannot judge the quality of service during busier times. Megan was beaming as she sat under a creative piece of art showcasing that Parisian tower.
The prices are a BARGAIN!!! If you just want a crêpe you will be paying less than $ 10 for a large crêpe but for a couple dollars more you get soup or salad added. We went with the obvious … FRENCH ONION SOUP.
The missing star above is related to the soup. You see … I love soups … I make lots of soups … I own far too many soup cookbooks. Le Café Creperie’s French Onion Soup is delightfully creative using a small crêpe as the bread and a nice slice of good tasting cheese. My problem was below the cheese and the crêpe. First, French Onion soup should be steaming … this soup was warm. The broth although flavorful was on the salty side and not as richly onion flavored as I would have liked. Again, it was creative and I would order it again but it would not get those Michelin 5 stars.
Megan ordered the FIESTA CREPE … ok, she loves everything about France but give the girl chicken and salsa and some guac and she’ll pick it up for a meal. I wanted the most «French-​like» crêpe on the menu so I went for the Asiago Chicken with its artichokes, onions, mushrooms, spinach, chicken and cheese.
The crepes covered a large plate and each bite was better than the one before. I could hear the sweet jazz of Paris nightclubs playing in the background as I indulged myself in this simple pancake meal that was so satisfying. Next time a bottle of wine must be brought along with me to Le Café!
The finishing touch … had to be … no other options for this first visit … that famous crêpe created by accident almost 150 years ago … CREPE SUZETTE with its orange butter sauce, hints of marmalade, Grand Marnier, and ice cream. Megan watched as our chef prepared this delight and there was excitement at the table when it was served.
We finished off our visit chatting with the owner who showcased obvious pride in his restaurant. He talked about the school groups that visit and brought out his I-​Pad to show us photos of a recent group that enjoyed their visit. He said they get bridal parties and others who come to enjoy this special touch of France.
TRES BIEN Le Café Creperie … TRES BIEN!

New location, bigger space, and a real Parisian feel! Same great taste and amazing hosts! Just tried their gyro crêpe, such a unique crêpe with amazing taste that is a living testament of «savory» crepes, as advertised. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants and the owner has an exceptional, welcoming personality!

Been on my list of bookmarks for over a year. Finally, after finding a deal on Livingsocial, I was able to give Le Café Creperie a try. I ordered the spinach & chicken nanzza which is grilled chicken, tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella, and asiago cheese. It was yummy! The flavors all worked well together all on a thin flatbread. It is the perfect portion for lunch as it comes like a personal pizza size. The interior is decorated very nicely, as if you were on the streets of Paris. The kitchen is semi-​open and you can watch them make your crêpe. The owner is very kind and accommodating! Something you don’t see very often nowadays at some restaurants. Sweet guy!

This was our first trip and the food was a treat! It was the first time I ever had a savory crêpe for dinner and it was delicious.
I had the French onion soup and the chicken raspberry crêpe. The soup was very good, excellent broth and onions with a cheese covered crêpe topping. Just the right amount. The chicken raspberry crêpe was delicious although I might have preferred about half as much raspberry preserves.
My wife had tomato soup and the ham and cheese crêpe. The soup was very nice and definitely home made. Could have used a garnish to brighten up the presentation but I’m nitpicking. The crêpe was light and delicious and had just the right amount of cheese (not too much).
It was clear that one of the wait staff was still in training, and my diet coke was flat but happily exchanged for an iced tea. I’m sure these kinks will workout over time.
Overall this is seems to be a great place to get something different. The food is wholesome and of quality and the prices seem fair. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. Looking forward to some breakfast and dessert options on my next few trips.

A great place to experience sitting on a street café in Paris, people watching, while enjoying a crêpe and a café (coffee).
Great combinations of crepes both sweet and savory. Combos available such as a crêpe and salad, crêpe and soup, 2 crepes (sweet and savory smaller portions).
Wait staff very pleasant, and the owner was very nice to speak with when we asked what brought him to develop a Creperie, his experience in France, etc.
If you never tried a crêpe before, Le Café Creperie will not disappoint.
On Sundays they also feature brunch style crepes with eggs, ham, sausage, etc. My favorite crêpe on the Sunday menu is the Croque Madame.
I will definitely return to try other great crepes. Location is right next to Pat’s Pizza/​behind Champs. Same Creperie that was in Cherry Hill, however they felt they needed to move from the shopping center they were in into a better location that was easy for customers to get in and out of the restaurant.
