Best brisket I’ve had in years! Almost made this west Texas girl cry! Authentic Texas brisket with wonderful handmade chips. The meat had a Nice smoke flavor — the chef is a well seasoned BBQ master! Don’t miss the banana pudding … Freshly sliced bananas with a lovely thick homemade pudding.

I had ribs and two sides — fresh chips and cheese grits. The ribs had a good smoke flavor but the sides were just going ok. The chips were cold and the grits were just plain bad– tasted like instant grits. My wife had a chicken club sandwich which had an almost raw piece of bacon… my wife said it was more like a steamed piece of bacon. I think I’ll give them another chance because the ribs had a good BBQ smoke flavor… but after paying 30 $ with tip for two lunches it was pretty disappointing. …also the waitress we had was kinda clueless… No personality. not really nice… no smiling… not a great experience.

Do yourself a favor, go down there, get a Hillbilly Cheesesteak and a side of chips, and then forever wonder why you haven’t gone before.

Simple beef brisket sandwich with Apple pecan slaw. Brisket was melt in your mouth good and the slaw with it just made it over the top. Nice little hangout as well with that small town feel.

Super friendly staff, great food, excellent service. They smoke their BBQ for 10 hours so this is the real deal! Sides are tasty too!

Stopped in for an early dinner and the aroma walking in was to die for! I had the pulled pork with squash casserole and roasted sweet corn my husband had pulled chicken with roasted sweet corn and Mac & cheese. It was All delicious! You could tell it was all homemade and fresh! The only thing we weren’t a fan of was the corn muffins. I think they were made with lard and that’s why they tasted off.
