We provide private music lessons in a wide range of instruments: piano, violin, woodwinds, percussion, horns, and guitar, and voice. We have been in business for over 10 years, and have hundreds students of all age ranges and skill levels.

History

Established in 2002.

We have been in business for over 10 years, and thousands of students have passed through our doors. Batavia Studios was founded by Urmi Batavia, an accomplished pianist, and piano and music instructor.

She originally started the studio out of her home, but as demand grew, quickly realized she needed to move into dedicated space. Over the years, she has assembled a team of dedicated, professional music instructors who specialize in teaching students of all ages by focusing on popular music that keeps them motivated and engaged in their lessons, and eager to practice to achieve proficiency.

Now celebrating over 10 years in business, Urmi is extremely proud of the work she and her teachers have done, in helping to inculcate a love of music in so many of the area’s children (and adults!).

The studio provides flexible hours, and in-​home lessons for parents who’s schedules make it difficult to travel to our Mars/​Adams location.

Urmi has been teaching music for over 10 years, and has a music minor from Youngstown State University. She is a holder of a Grand Gold Cup from the Federation of Music.
