RidgeComms was formed by Madison County residents to provide affordable high quality Internet service to Madison County where service is not available or a better quality Internet service is needed.

Meet the Business Owner

James W.

Business Owner

James started tinkering with electronics in grade school. After graduating high school in Bryson City, NC he spent ten years in the US Navy in television and radio broadcast engineering.

After leaving the Navy James worked at various broadcast and post production facilities throughput the US and purchased land in the Guntertown community of Madison County. He was finally able to leave the big city job behind and move back to the North Carolina mountains in 2008.

Seeing an unfilled need for quality high speed Internet in most of Madison County James started RidgeComms in early 2013.
