Atlantic License Brokers was established as a division of The Atlantic Restaurant Group to accommodate the needs of our clients. Atlantic License Brokers is the only firm in Massachusetts dedicated to maintaining an inventory of available restaurant All Alcoholic Beverages and Wine & Malt Beverages Licenses. We insure faster, seamless transactions by facilitating the purchase of all the necessary components of a successful restaurant.

Business Owner

From 1965 to 1985 Dan’s family owned, operated and franchised Mug ‘n Muffin, a chain of 26 restaurants throughout the greater Boston area. After selling the chain in 1985, Dan managed the family’s restaurant holdings which grew to six units under his direction.

After a two year period where Dan was involved in high-​level management in hotels and healthcare, he returned to Boston and became a Howard Johnson franchisee with his business partner. After selling that restaurant, Dan became the director of recruiting for Au Bön Pain, an international company with more than 135 domestic units. While at Au Bön Pain, Dan was involved at various times in construction, marketing, human resources, food and beverage, and operations across the entire chain.

The Atlantic Restaurant Group, Inc. was started in 2002 to service a niche market of independent restaurateurs who were interested in selling their restaurants and the qualified prospective owners they seek.
