Specialties
Experience beautiful views, hiking and kayaking, and local cheese-makers. We have a couple of rooms that are pet-friendly – just tell us about your pet when you reserve. We offer a full home-made breakfast and use local eggs, cheese and maple syrup. Our rooms are large, clean and comfortable and we’ll help you plan fun things to do while you’re here.
History
Established in 1959.
Our property was a sheep farm in the mid-1800’s. We still have 37 acres of meadows and woodland with many walking trails. The motel was built in 1959 and has continued in the classic style of a drive-up, roadside motel. Our Main House was built in 1881 and you’ll enjoy the well-crafted and maintained atmosphere when you join us for breakfast in the morning.
