History
Established in 2012.
Donna Dunlop adopted her first Doberman in 1999 and began driving on weekends from MA to Sandown, NH to volunteer for Doberman Rescue Unlimited so I could help other less fortunate dogs. She wore many hats as she learned about dog training from the shelter’s staff trainers. She took some of the worst cases into her own home to foster and rehabilitate.
Motivated to learn more about K-9 training, she traveled to Carbondale, IL in 2005 to train with Behesha Doan of Extreme K-9. She became certified in dog training, with a focus in Remote Collar Training. Although there is no requirement in MA to be certified as a dog trainer, she felt it was important to do so.
As a «balanced dog trainer», she uses multiple techniques to achieve obedience goals: praise, correction, teaching, and encouragement. My passion today is to help confused, misunderstood, or high-risk dogs, and to teach their owners to communicate effectively with them.

Manager
Kellie had worked for a dog walking company in Boston. She was a walker and a manager. Years later she moved to the South Shore. She missed working in the industry. So she reached out to Donna, the owner of The Daily Dog, and now happily managers the business.
