We have owned our Lafayette home almost 40 years, and have had numerous contractors out to do various jobs, big and small. Not one of them was better, more honest and more skilled than Steve and his crew. We had hundreds of feet of driveway and walkway replaced. It was a huge project, yet Steve was meticulous about being careful with our landscaping and property. He was here every day, with the job on time and on budget. We feel lucky to have found him!

We recently had our front and backyard poured with new colored /stamped concrete as well as several steps and footpath by Allenco. We received quotes from several contractors and Steve was by far the most responsive and affordable.
Steve will quickly get the job done and be straight forward with you. He is a no nonsense kind of guy.
The quality of the final product is excellent. He transformed our backyard. His crew is VERY hard working. Steve checked in with me daily on their progress and offered a walk-through at the end of each day to make sure I’m happy with the way things are going. He also would call prior to any changes in the scope of work, which I appreciate.
Overall we are very happy with Steve and his team’s work. We would recommend his company if you want to get concrete work done, no bullshit.

I totally disagree with the previous review. I’ve worked with Allenco on several projects and they have been nothing but professional and honest. Their work is timely, on budget, and done to my exact specifications. No surprises. Joey came to my home and provided a honest fair estimate. He explained based on my specifications, the job may be a little more than my budget. He went over material, labor, and the cost to renovate part of my home. I clearly understood what the project would cost. After discussing it with my husband, we agreed to go with Allenco and we couldn’t be more satisfied. So satisfied we are repeat clients!

Below is my original post! Per joeys response: this shows how unprofessional you are! You basically call me stupid and blame the customer for everything. I never said anything about haggling! Am I not allowed to get other bids? Are you serious??? I said I was fine with your 5k min. I said everything we need to do I wouldn’t be surprised if it was around that! But without looking at the property as you agreed to you blew me off! Yes I did say I would give a bad review because the experience was that bad! I have never had someone book an appt then cancel and then blame me. Maybe your work is good but the costumer service sucks. I can’t imagine a whole side of a house for a dog run and a whole side yard remodel is not worth your time. But it’s not your issue now so move on. You got a bad review. Beware people cause they will attack you when all you want is a bid!
If I could give ZERO I would. I am so frustrated with this company! I called and left messaged 3 times. And when I finally get a call back, the guy is wishy washy about coming out to give a bid because they have a 5K minimum. Well we just bought a new home and wanted to put a dog run in the back of the house, and completely renovate the side yard, which is the size of a driveway! We wanted to repave it, stamp it and do some nice stuff. The guy makes an appt to meet me after work. I book childcare to be able to make this appointment. And three hours before it, he texts me he’s canceling because the Owner thinks it is a waste of time to bid it. They are assuming its under there 5K minimum! I call the guy angry, and I tell him you have no idea if its less than 5K. He tells me to do the measurements myself and email them and they will give a ballpark. So I have to do your job for you. FYI its not the kind of job that I can just give measurements. We just bought this home and have more projects your could have profited from. But your Greed got in the way. Bad service, he should have came out when I explained how much work was needed and I had booked childcare for this appointment! One angry working mom here.

I just spoke with someone – who did not identify himself or the company. I told him about a job I needed an estimate for. He went on about the price of gas to send his estimator out to my house and the job was not big enough from what I told him. Wow. Terrible customer service. I guess my potential future business referrals didn’t enter into his head – since I’m a Realtor. Bad move no-name!

We have been working with Steven and his team for over a month now to plan and pour the decking around our pool, new patio, and walkways. Steven was always available to take our calls, come meet with us in the planning stages, and available to answer our questions. During the work, he is hands on preparing, digging, feet in the concrete. We are very happy working with him on this BIG project! Our decking and patio looks great!

Steven and his crew completed my driveway replacement today. They did a great job, keeping the worksite extremely clean and tidy throughout the project. Steven sent me a written proposal the same day I asked for a quote, completed every step of the job as scheduled and all for a very competitive price. I have a good experience with Allenco Concrete Co. ‘Steve’, I asked Steve to do a concrete pad on my backyard and I couldn’t imagine that these people are going to do that much professional work. They showed on time and do the work with a high quality without any headache which normally come from a contractor. They left the work area very clean. I really recommend them to anyone !!

I needed the concrete around my pool to be replaced. I called two pool company’s and I wasn’t really satisfied with what they told me. A pool company would just contract out this job anyway so I decided to call a concrete company. I came across Allenco concrete. I talked to the owner Steve. He explained all the work that needed to be done and dropped off a written itemized proposal for the final cost. We agreed on the price and I was more than happy with the work. Steve is the kind of guy that tells you he is going to do something and if for whatever reason he can’t he is on the phone calling you to let you know why. The finished job of colored cement came out looking great. I recommend Steve from Allenco concrete co. to anyone who needs concrete work. Thanks guys. Great job

I am so amazed by Steve and his staff’s professionalism. They did a completely awesome work on my backyard patio and front yard. We have a huge backyard where we wanted to have a 1500sqft patio with retaining walls, and we wanted a walkway for our front yard plus an extension of our driveway. The whole job was almost 3000sqft. We have interviewed many concrete contractors, and Steve gave me the best price and the most honest deal. It was a «gut feeling» I had for Steve that he was going to do a great job, and it turned out that I was right. Because of the large square footage and the details of the work, I was worried in the beginning and afraid that someone would mess up the job. However, Steve proved that he has the expertise and experience to make my dream a reality. Now we can enjoy our outdoor living areas for years to come! I want to say thank you Steve! Great job, great price, and great quality!

As a first time homeowner I was nervous about hiring a contractor. I was told to get 3 estimates which I did. The first one was a guy who did’nt seem that interested. He acually called my project just another slap of concrete. The second contractor was very pushy and I felt intimidated. The final contractor was Steve from Allenco Concrete. He was very friendly and I felt confortable with his demeaner. He was very helpfull by explaining the process in a manner that I could understand
I asked for a list of references address included from all three so I could look at there work. The first contractor had jobs that looked o.k. but nothing really stood out. The second contractor was very rude to me when I had to remind him about a list of jobs for the 2^nd time. Steve gave me a large list and also an address of job in progress.
I stopped by his job and was please with what I saw (very professional). I called some of his previous clients and everyone had nothing but good to say about him. At this point I knew who was going to install my stamped driveway.
When the start day arrived Steve and his crew showed up on time. When I got home latter that day the old driveway was gone and everything was neat and tidey. The second day they set the forms backfilled and added the rebar. Again everything was neat and tidey. The 3^rd day they showed up very early to set up for the pour. When I got home they were still working and they worked late to finish the job. As I watched them I notice how masterful steve managed his job and crew.
The drive way turned how beutifull and I’m so impressed with Allenco Concrete. These guys are great. I will continue to recommend them. You go Allenco Concrete
